There are a few things I've learnt in recent times that I'd like to share:
1. Collaboration is better than competition
2. Learn to partner with the right people
3. Always make sure you confirm every single detail before sending out a quote
4. It's not every job you must take 😊
5. Don't be scared to walk away before things go sour
6. Never let intimidation shut you up, sometimes it may ruin your spirit or ability to create and think objectively.
7. It's never too late to walk away. Money must be made, but protect your mental health at all cost
8. Sometimes it's ok to take a break when you're feeling overwhelmed.
9. Have a strict policy on "insults, condescending statements, intimidation and general bad character". Maybe when clients know they have to pay when they insult or reign curses on you, they'd respect themselves.
10. Finally, you may not be perfect all the time, sometimes you'd make mistakes, sometimes you'd get it wrong. Make sure you learn from them, grow and move forward.

About a month to the wedding date, I got a call from the groom just when I thought everything was set for his wedding, that he will like me to handle his wedding decoration💃🏻💃🏻.
According to him, nothing much, just something small and simple.
I was excited and started developing ideas in my head.
Then he told me the capacity and I decided to partner with my mama because why not🤷🏻‍♀️?
This experience was a learning curve for me, but I'm glad I got to experience this.
Will I do it again? Definitely yes! But this time, better 😊
