Jodi wrote our ceremony with us and incorporated a tiny symbolic Hindu ceremony which was so meaningful to me.

Her feedback on our vows gave us all the confidence we needed to speak so personally in front of everyone we love.

We loved our ceremony full of happy tears & laughs - it was equal parts romantic, sentimental & funny ☺️

Our wedding day fell on the hottest day of the year and Jodi bravely faced the day with us while looking so fabulous!

Our special day was enriched for having Jodi officiate.

Consider yourself warned that I will be sharing several posts from this breathtakingly beautiful wedding with Meghan & Victor. I met these gorgeous humans officiating for their beloved friends Emma and Rowan last October (who I was reunited with today, and their 6 week old baby, photos to come!! 💜)

We worked so closely together, meticulously tending to each sentiment, each phrase and movement to weave an extraordinarily personal ceremony for this couple, and their intimate guest list who all wore greens & blues!!

It was like being with family.

And friends, Victor who is a very gifted musician, singer and songwriter surpised us by grabbing his guitar and performing alongside their hired harpist Rose who is a marvel.

NOT ONLY THAT but during his encore, he was joined by bride Meghan 😭😭😭

Holy moly … come on!?!

What a day.
What a love.
What a life.

Emma & Rowan forever have a place in my heart, for many reasons.

Getting to officiate their beautiful Fall wedding last year and then seeing them become parents has been a tremendous privilege.

This part of authentic relationship building among clients who maintain relationships with me in all sorts of ways, is such a blessing.

Brodi & Dan are the type of people who you meet, and then hope to goodness you find a way to stay in their lives.

TRULY, each and every single time we met it was like we'd had know each other for ever. It was easy to see why they feel in love, because I fell in love with them! They are so unspeakably kind, and they care deeply.

We laughed, we cried ... we cried ... we REALLY laughed.

This ceremony hit every note without apology.

Happy First Day of Summer

My goodness, isn't this just a beautiful capture of the lovely Graham and Chole?! I always love working with - talented photographers and really great people!

I always love a "second first kiss" during the recessional, it is a totally different vibe than the first kiss, which should only have the spouses in frame.

This wedding was such a joy to officiate. I had the pleasure of officiating the wedding for this groom's sister. It always feels like returning to family when you get invited back.

There couldn’t have been a more lovely way to wrap up Pride month than with Mark & Tristan, and their beautiful family. Although everyday is PRIDE over here

There were moments in their ceremony that honestly caught my breath.

Their love for one another, and the love from their parents, family & friends is what all love should be greeted with - full stop. Some loved ones made the flight all the way from Australia, where these two met and the rest is history.

Alanis Morissette got it wrong, rain on your wedding day can be incorporated into playful metaphors and powerful reminders that love shines most brightly in the darkest of storms 🌧️

This wonderful groom reached his hand out to check the status of the rain after we opened the ceremony with an homage to the rain. The images show no amount of rain could damper their moods!

Peyton & Josh, our experience working together was akin to alchemy, a testament to the transformative power of the 3 of us working alongside one another to craft an unforgettable ceremony.

Working with you reminded of what I love about my officiant life, and that’s so appreciated because often officiants hear the importance of the ceremony being downplayed, or something to get out of the way so the fun begins (this is a telltale they’ve not seen great officiants do their thing).

You treated me with such kindness, and thoughtfully considered each decision (looking to one another of course 😊). I will forever remember the way you looked at one another. What a deep well of Love.

Jaime & Daryl are the kind of people who make you want to be your very best, because that’s what they deserve.

Their kindness, self-depreciating humour & selfless warmth made for an experience together I’ll forever cherish.

We never stopped smiling, unless we were wiping tears, during their ceremony.

They wrote such beautiful vows to one another that showcased their infectious humour, playfulness & unflinching love rooted in being best friends.

You won’t meet two people more in love than Jaime and Daryl. Their love is kind, playful, expansive and limitless.

Jaime and I were already bonded, as she invited me last summer to accompany a chosen family member through their last breaths.

And Daryl and I soon fell into a quick friendship from a shared appreciation of the pain & pleasure that is all things related to acquiring a PhD.

I fell in love with their love the moment I met with them. Telling their kinda love stories is why I’m in love with this officiant life.

They radiate all that’s meaningful about life.

Together we wrote a ceremony that included quotes from RZA of Wu Tang, Captain America and Shakespeare. Groom’s entrance was to Snoop Dog, and the energy was 🔥

They attended my vow writing workshop and WOW did they ever deliver on truly heartfelt vows that left us laughing and crying along with them.

I take such joy in knowing I’ll be part of chapters in their lives still to come.

Just wait until you see the professional photos. You won’t believe one wedding could be filled with so much beauty. I will be spamming your feed.
