There are many unsavoury tasks on the farm…weeding, pounding rebar or t-posts, shovelling compost to name a few!
But digging dahlias has to be the worst! At this time of year when I am lifting hundreds of dahlia clumps, I am questioning their worth! I literally had to scroll my camera roll for motivation to keep going 🤣.

🌲✨Join us in our new greenhouse for a truly one of a kind experience this holiday season! This year we are offering our wreath workshop surrounded by walls of glass, timber, and pure winter magic. We will show you how to craft a beautiful wreath utilizing a large selection of natural ingredients foraged right here on the farm.
You will leave with your own beautiful, fresh wreath for your front door.

The grandpa pumpkin 👴🏼
An old time heirloom,
the LONG ISLAND CHEESE 🧀 pumpkin!
Its moderately sweet flesh is perfect for pie (or cheesecake). An excellent keeper! I’m embarrassed to say I’ve had some for 9 months in the basement 😬 and still.. delicious 🤤
You can come on by the stand today to grab yours!

Things are wrapping up around here AND I’m glad for it. We’ve had a beautiful, full year and I’m tired. I feel really grateful to be a part of so much LOVE this past season. Meadowlark flowers were part of many BIG life moments. Thanks for including us in ALL your celebrations of love—births, deaths, marriages, anniversaries, birthdays and just because. And thanks for loving local, seasonal flowers. We really appreciate your support.
There’s a few flowers left in the field for your thanksgiving table and then it’s on to the task of prepping beds for winter!Happy Thanksgiving!
