It’s been a hot minute, ok more like 4 months since I’ve posted anything😳 But slowing down the business has been a really good move, life and family has me busy.
Molly and I are going to take a slower approach for our wreath season. We are still going to make wreaths, I truly love creating wreaths, but we will be making a limited amount. Preorder wreaths will be up on our website tonight, Nov 1 at 7pm💜

This Mother’s Day is a little slower for us.

Unfortunately we have a tulip crop failure, we planted 2500 double petaled tulips and I have picked maybe 20.

Why did they fail? I haven’t a clue…maybe from disease, or it’s too hot or too dry, maybe the soil was too dry when I planted them, or maybe the tulip gods didn’t align in winter🤪. All I know when you grow tulips as a crop they are waayyy more finicky than just randomly planting them in a garden!!

On the bright side, I did cancel my original order of 6400…it could have been a lot worse!!

So it looks like this Mother’s Day weekend I will be able to watch my son play baseball and relax a little💜

If you need a gift for Mother’s Day, we still have a couple spot available for our Spring subscription, which will start in a couple weeks. Also I have some awesome indoor planters and a couple of my beautiful 3 ring hanging baskets at in Lumby💜

I’m so excited as we start making our preordered wreaths. It’s crazy to say but for right now we are sold out of our preorders and workshops! We need a moment to catch up, send some wreaths to their new homes and finish prepping for all of our workshops before we open up sales for more wreaths…and maybe some centerpieces??🤔

I wish I had seen it earlier but we are trying our best to help our babies recover from the heat wave, continuing high temperatures, and lack of rain. Well it’s been a crazy couple of months from planning to prepping to planting and now it’s growing(weeds too😆)!! 14 rows of annuals, 6 rows of dahlias and 8 rows of perennials. We still aren’t finished but I’m so proud of us and what we have accomplished!! We took advantage of the cooler night yesterday and fertilized with our tea.
