Southern Ontario Sno Drags would like to take a moment to thank the racers, their families, and our local spectators that participated in our inaugural winter snowmobile drag race series.
This unbelievable sport has allowed SOS Drags to return an amazing $11,000 dollars in donations, and proceeds into our local Lions and Legion branches, and our Magnetawan Fire Departments first responders.
These events have been a win/win for our community and support groups.

Due to such warm weather this year and the lack of snow were are unfortunately canceling our last drag race event of the year in Huntsville, ON.
Stay tuned though, great things to be announced in 2024 for the 2025 winter Sno Drag Season.

This post is an important reminder to racers of all ages that waivers need to be completed prior to the event date and registration.
Please note the following important details regarding minors who are looking to participate in our racing events.

Minors are any racers under 16 years of age.

Racers 13 years and under:
• Permitted to race in Specialty-Kids classes provided specific criteria below are met.
• NOT permitted to race in any trail, money and/or pro classes.
Racers 14 - 16 years of Age:
• Permitted to race in trail classes provided specific criteria below are met.
• NOT permitted to race any pro and/or money classes.
Racers 16 years and Older:
• Racers 16 years older are permitted to race in trail, pro and/or money classes provided specific criteria below are met.

Specific Criteria for Minors are as follows:
1. Minors are required to have their own insurance waivers completed, with their photos.
2. Waivers are required to be submitted by their legal guardian prior to registration on the event day.
3. Waivers for all racers will be reviewed at registration through confirmation text message.
4. Please ensure that your phone is accessible to review the confirmation text message from Speedwaiver.

Please note, payment and registration cannot be completed if any of the specific criteria’s above are not met.

SOS Drags will not be responsible for any injuries and/or any legal repercussions related to Legal Guardians who register minors under false pretences into classes they are not permitted to enter.

Dear Valued Competitors:

This posting is to clarify information related to the prizes of the Payout Classes for February 17, 2024.

As per our advertisement posted on December 14, 2023 and January 20, 2024, 100% prize payout for all money classes was provided for the January 27, 2024 event only.

For the February 17, 2024 event, the prize payout for money classes was 70%. We understand the concern that has been brought forward regarding the prize payout and have made the necessary changes to ensure clear communication going forward.

To ensure SOS Drags can continue providing an exceptional racing experience to our valued competitors, race payouts for money classes will be at 70%, unless otherwise stated.

For transparency, payout percentages will be posted on the advertisements going forward.

Please note, prize payouts will be determined on a race to race basis.

We thank you for your participation, and we look forward to seeing you on March 2, 2024.

SOS Drags wants to first thank their dedicated volunteers for putting in countless hours of their personal time to allow this amazing event to happen yesterday, February 17th 2024, at 100 Jackson Road in Magnetawan.

We would also like to thank the hundreds of racers that drove countless hours and even from other provinces to make our 2nd event a huge success.

SOS Drags was anticipating a 20% increase of racer turnout over our first event, and in no way did we know the amount of racer support we were about to receive.
We had made the decision to dedicate more time for our Jr competitors in the 120 & 200 cc classes, and with the longer lineups at administration, we started our day off later than required. We continued the racing completion for as long as we could and had to call the racing due to darkness.
SOS Drags truly apologizes to the remaining 11 classes of competitors that had their entrance fees returned, and to the Trail class competitors for moving their award ceremony to our next race date March 2nd 2024.
SOS Drags will be doubling the administration support and will be looking for more volunteers for our March 2nd race to properly look after the support we have been given from the racing community.

🏁CLASS PRE REGISTRATION INFORMATION & LINK

If you choose, you can pre register your classes by filling out the PDF form provided. You can find this PDF form either by going through the QR link (green box image) or clicking below for the direct link. Download the PDF directly to your phone or desktop computer, fill the form out by clicking on the applicable boxes desired. Once you have checked your desired boxes, save the pdf and send to our email [email protected] with your name, this will be update administration of your registration. You will still have to visit the administration trailer the day of the races to pay class fees, and go through tech to make sure your desired classes are applicable.

⭐️NOTE: You can still register for classes on site, this is just if you desire to register before the race date. ALL racers will have to sign and online waiver as well which will also be provided on our page.
