November, you were delicious.
The real highlight of the month was celebrating my daughter and grandbaby. Often when posting these months in review I will look back in awe at how the time is flying by. This post all I can do is wish the time away as fast as can be so we can meet this little baby. The anticipation is killing me!
Hopefully only 1 more month in review before this baby is here 🙏

Happy 9th Anniversary to my one true love. We didn’t follow “the rules” but I wouldn’t change a thing. We raised babies then got married and started travelling the world. There’s no one I’d rather break the rules with than you ❤️

Mother’s Day is a tough one. My Momma left this world 8 years ago and it still seems surreal. She was my rock, my compass, my anchor and navigating this world without her has been challenging to say the least. The one thing that’s certain is that I wouldn’t be the Mom I am today without her.
Being a Mom has been the single most challenging yet rewarding role in my life. These 5 amazing humans are my heartbeat. To say I’m proud of the young adults they have become is an understatement. I’m just so incredibly blessed to have had the privilege to watch them grow and flourish.
Jayde, Riley, Seth, Cassandra and Cody…I love you with all my heart. Thanks for the honour of being your Momma 💕

It’s been a minute since I shared a little bit about myself. So for those of you who don’t know anything about me, let me introduce myself!
My name is Jessica and I started this little home based business of mine on a whim just over 2 years ago. Literally made a couple charcuterie boxes for my son, took some pictures, posted them on FB and IG and the rest is history!
I’m a very happily married Momma to 5 amazing young adults. Hubby and I have been together just over 22 years, married for 8.5. My family is my greatest pride.
This little business is a side gig. My day job is another passion of mine. I work as a Case Management Worker at a transition house for women and children fleeing abuse. There was a time last year that I considered quitting my job to focus on Fancy Figs, but I absolutely love my job and the team of amazing women that are my coworkers.
Some of my favourite things to do include travelling and discovering new places and cultures, back roading in my jeep, hiking and puzzling. I also love being creative and Fancy Figs has become my way of expressing my creativity. Aside from meeting all of you, that’s my favourite part of this little venture of mine.
As always, a million thank yous to all of you for your support. Your words of encouragement and positive energy means everything ❤️

This weekend was all about the custom charcuterie boards! This gift was purchased by a realtor as a housewarming gift for her clients. I mean, who wouldn’t love to dive into this after a long day of moving?
