Happy March!! I love March because it’s my birthday month! I love my birthday because I’m extra like that and it’s literally a month I get to be spoiled and extra 😂

So here are some of my tips for How to Celebrate Your Birthday all Month Long!

1. Ask your significant other to surprise you with a fun birthday surprise or gift every Friday for the whole month. Doesn’t have to be anything crazy it’s the thought that counts 😉

2. All those friends who have been asking to see you the last few months? Book them in for lunches and coffee dates! They will be excited to celebrate you and might even offer to pay 😜

3. Schedule something fun each weekend of the month!

4. Book yourself some of pamper sessions! Nails? Hair? Massage? Facial? Whatever makes you feel good!

5. Don’t forget to make sure everyone knows it’s your birthday month! How can they celebrate you if they don’t know?

Once again my job has been shut down and I can’t take out my frustration at yoga or the gym sooooooo I guess I’ll just have some cookies and live in Panama’s again.
I’ve been a rule follower through the pandemic and I’m feeling pretty frustrated that even though we’ve done everything we were told to do we are back at the beginning again. So no. I am not ok with the government telling me what I can and can’t do for Christmas. And if I see cars at my neighbours house I will smile and be happy they aren’t spending Christmas alone.

I go back to this thought a lot as a parent. It’s so true and I’m super guilty of it - if we don’t let our kids suffer they won’t grow. If we protect them from pain and hurt they will not thrive in life. We want to protect them from the world and heartbreak and struggles but instead we need to teach them the tools of how to get back up from those situations.
Anyways that’s my 12:30am musings
