So, this is 40!

I never thought I'd be proud to be carded, but here I am, embracing it with open arms.

I look back at my 20-year-old self and realize how much my path has deviated from what I had envisioned. I never expected to leave my software engineering career to start my own event business, become a crazy cat lady, or a wife and mom.

But, being a mom has been the most surprising and rewarding journey of all. It's allowed me to tap into my inner child, be silly, and watch cartoons again.

I never knew I would become a kid again, learning about black holes, stellar, origami, and Pokemon characters alongside my child. I thought I would be his mentor, but instead, he inspired me to become a better version of myself. Motherhood is truly a 2-directional journey.
