Keeping your florals fresh in colder months? Try these winter care tips to enjoy them even longer!

Avoid Cold Drafts and Extreme Heat: Place arrangements away from direct heat sources like radiators, fireplaces, or heating vents, as well as away from cold drafts near windows or doors.

Use Fresh, Clean Water: Change the water every couple days. Clean water is essential to prevent bacteria growth, which can shorten the lifespan of flowers.

Keep Leaves Out of Water: Remove any leaves that sit below the waterline, as submerged leaves can promote bacteria growth, reducing the freshness of your flowers.

Mist Occasionally: Give your florals a light misting with water to help maintain their hydration, especially in dry indoor air.

Add Flower Food: Use the flower food that came with your bouquet, as it provides essential nutrients and reduces bacteria in the water. If you’re out of flower food, a pinch of sugar with a few drops of bleach can be a substitute.

Avoid Direct Sunlight: Florals stay fresher longer in indirect light, so place your arrangement in a spot with bright but indirect sunlight to keep them from wilting prematurely.
