It is sad to post this message, but I have contemplated in great depth the decision to not continue the catering business.

It was born out of the desire to fill a void and serve my community. That was not to be, as I started the business in October 2019 and could not get it off the ground before Covid and rising food costs pegged it down, into an endless attempt to "restart" with everchanging restrictions.

I cook from my heart, and I am so thankful for the clients (some who became family because of the catering) who stuck by me and supported me through and through. My heart goes into every dish I create and I am eternally thankful to those whom I could share this gift with.

I plan to still do special events and events for the community and by special request. I have also started a small spin-off "Around Town Bakery" which provides fresh-baked breads...my true specialty.

Thank you to all who believed in me. A dream attempted, accomplished, that I am proud of but that I can now put to rest. With much gratitude.🙏❤

I want to send a special THANK YOU to Christina at Around Town Catering & Events, in Merritt BC, for an absolutely fantastic dinner on my 50th birthday! The food arrived hot, on time, and cooked to perfection 👌🏻 The flavours were a party in my mouth 🥰 Balsamic Chicken breast skewers with mint crema, roasted baby potatoes and carrots with fresh herbs, and a summer garden salad with a delicious dressing ☺️🍷 As well she made a charcuterie board with fruit, cheese, crackers, and spreads! The wild flower 🌸 and honey 🍯 brie was to die for and my FAVOURITE 🥂🍾 and my lemon and blueberry birthday cake was moist and delicious too with a wonderful icing and filling. Thank you Christina 🌺💕 We will definitely be using your services again!
