Our Story

Why E’s?

We’re a family-owned and operated small business, located in Mindemoya, Ontario.

My husband, Tim, grew up in Mindemoya - and intended on never leaving his beloved Manitoulin Island - until he met me. :) I’m from Ohio - and when we were married in 2009, he immigrated to the States, as we wanted to be close to my family.

The eight years we lived in Ohio were full of wonderful memories, and a rollercoaster of learning experiences. We started and grew a trucking company, renovated two houses, had two babies, experienced sickness and loss, and also joy and success. However, it came to a point where we found ourselves overwhelmed with our work situation, and the strain it put on family life. So, after much prayerful consideration - we took a leap of faith and changed everything by moving back to Manitoulin.
