— William Shakespeare, “Romeo & Juliet”

Each of our names carries the weight of ancestors, the hopes of parents, and the distinct rhythm of an individual life.

As we look toward 2026, there are new stories waiting to be written and new names to unite — whose two independent signatures will curve toward one another to signal the start of a sensational single chapter.

The journey of marriage is more than a legal union; it is the merging of two distinct identities. And in 2026, The Marry Men Wedding Officiants are thrilled to take a “walk on the aisle side” with these fabulous couples.

As their wedding dates approach, their names will appear side-by-side on beautifully-crafted cardstock and digital invites. That visual pairing of names will be the first glimpse of their shared future.

And the names they carry forward — whatever forms they may take — will become the banner under which they will navigate the triumphs and trials of married life.

Meet REBECCA and ANGELO!

They’re getting married next week and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Rebecca and Angelo met when they were both working at the John W. Graham Library on the campus of the University of Toronto.

“We must have been working together for years before we started dating,” Angelo shared, “but we only knew each other in passing.”

“I knew a little bit about Angelo just through his reputation,” Rebecca admitted. “He was popular around campus and involved in a lot of social events.”

But their paths rarely crossed.

Until December 30, 2016 - their first official date.

“It was the most incredible first date and I’m glad things turned out the way they did,” Angelo told us.

“I don’t believe in love at first sight, but I knew the moment I saw him on our first date that he was someone that would be important to me and significant in my life.”

Seven lucky years later - on December 30, 2023 - Angelo proposed to Rebecca.

“I just knew very early on that I wanted to live the rest of my life together with her,”
Angelo told us. “It was just so easy. We cried and cried until we came down from the excitement and emotion.”

There will be more tears of joy on December 30, 2025 when Rebecca and Angelo vow to walk hand-in-hand for a lifetime.

“I’m just really thankful for our life together and I’m excited to just do small, ordinary, everyday things together as a married couple,” Rebecca told us. “I’m excited to call him my husband.”

Your wedding day will move faster than you expect.
Moments will blur. Music will swell. Time will fold in on itself. So slow down where you can.

Hold hands. Take a breath. Let go of what didn’t go exactly as planned. Perfection was never the goal, connection was.

Eat something. Drink some water. Look at each other often. These small, human moments are what anchor the day. And when the lights dim and the room quiets, remember this: You stood in front of the people you love and chose each other, out loud.

From the very beginning of this wild and beautiful journey of storytelling, some couples leave an imprint that never fades, and Emily and Cody are absolutely two of those people.

When we first met them, they brought a warmth, an energy, and a vibe that gave us all the feels. They reminded us why we do what we do: to celebrate love, laughter, connection, and the unforgettable stories that shape a life together.

Fast forward a few years, and these two continue to create memories and build even more beautiful chapters, always in their authentic, joy-filled way. They remain so close to our hearts, and we are endlessly grateful for the light they bring every time our paths cross.
