Meet STEPHANIE and JASON!

They’re getting married this weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Stephanie and Jason first met for a coffee date in late 2016. They brewed up quite the conversation and discovered just how much they enjoyed each other’s company.

It was during one of their annual visits to the Christmas Market in the Distillery District that Jason was really inspired by the season of “comfort and joy” and decided he wanted to be the gift that kept on giving — an a lifetime together as husband and wife.

On October 1, 2023, Jason said “Will you?” and Stephanie said “YES!”

“I can’t wait to experience all of the ‘firsts’ with my best friend and soulmate,” Stephanie shared, “and knowing that this is just the beginning of so much more. I’m so excited to know that I’ll have someone in my life as patient and kind as Jason is whenever I get home.”

Home really is where the heart is, and in one another, Stephanie and Jason have discovered a home for each of their hearts.

“She is already where I feel the most at home, and I can’t wait to build a home with her together,” Jason told us. “I can’t wait to start this next chapter together.”

“He’s my person and I can’t wait to have that feeling forever.”

Forever starts this Saturday for Stephanie and Jason!

Meet ERIN and MICHAEL!

They’re getting married this weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Erin and Michael first met as teenagers while playing baseball in May 2014.
It wasn’t until they were playing on the same team that they “hit it out of the park.”

“At the time we were still in high school, and when I realized the level of trust and comfort I felt to be be able to open up to her, I knew that she was my person and that I wanted to marry her,” Michael confided.

Michael set that ball in motion by proposing to Erin during the Thanksgiving Day long weekend on October 9, 2022 - the day after Erin’s birthday — during a walk through Guildwood Park and Gardens.

“I proposed on Thanksgiving so that our engagement could always overshadow that day,” Michael admitted.

Both Erin and Michael have so much to be thankful for.

“I feel so lucky that I met Michael so young because I have had the privilege of falling in love with every version of him, Erin told us. “I am truly looking forward to every little bit of living that Michael and I will get to do together.”

But first, Erin and Michael get to exchange vows and celebrate their marriage surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones during a fabulous fall ceremony we have had so much fun crafting for them.

Meet HARMAN and KATIE!

They’re getting married this weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Harman and Katie swiped right into each other’s lives via Tinder in September 2018.

“We both swiped right and started chatting,” Katie shared, “first on the app, then after a day or two, over text. The conversation flowed so easily.”

“She was very easy to talk to because she was a great listener and remembered all the little things about me very quickly,” Harman acknowledged. “She cared enough to take the time and really understand me.”

One date after another, Harman and Katie took the time to get to know each other, so much time, in fact, that they were often the last ones in the restaurant or ended up closing down the bar.

But their hearts were opening up to one another and to the incredible possibilities that lay ahead of them.

In a world that often seeks to divide us, Harman and Katie came together to affirm that true love knows no boundaries.
Because love does not discriminate.
Love does not exclude.
Love welcomes all those who are willing to open their hearts.

“It definitely has felt like the world is trying to keep us apart,” Katie admitted, “and we have had to be really strong in our love to get to where we are today.”

Their love has been so strong that making it last a lifetime was an obvious choice.

They say love is a walk in the park, so in October 2022, Harman and Katie took a leisurely stroll through High Park.

“We talked about surviving and overcoming obstacles and pandemics together before I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me,” Harman shared.

Katie said YES to the proposal and YES to continue walking with Katie, hand-in-hand, united in marriage.

“I’m looking forward to seeing where life takes us,” Katie shared. “Whatever the universe has in store for us, whether that includes having a child or growing our family by adopting more cats, I’m looking forward to doing it together.”

Meet KARLY and BRODY!

They’re getting married next weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Karly and Brody met in the summer of 2014 at a backyard kegger…but a connection was not immediate. That fall they attended a Guelph University homecoming party, and that’s when a year-long flirtation began.
It wasn’t until the following summer, while attending the same kegger, that Karly and Brody decided to give dating a shot.

“That night we talked and people-watched all night,” Brody shared. “At the end of the night, I walked her to her car and asked her if she was free the following Friday.”

And thus began a courtship that included five years of long distance dating, a pandemic lockdown that locked them both in each other’s bubbles, and an eventual engagement on the eve of Karly’s 29th birthday.

“The next couple of years are going to be so exciting for us,” Karly announced, “with our new house, starting our careers and, hopefully, being lucky enough to have kids soon. I can’t wait to soak in every moment!”

“When I got to witness the love and compassion she shared with her family and friends, her hard work and dedication to the tasks she does, and realized that her values and outlook on life aligned with mine, I knew I wanted that for the rest of my life,” Brody confided to us.

“Brody makes life better,” Karly shared, “not just for me, but for everyone. So I feel lucky that I get to grow old with him and can’t wait for all the belly laughs and adventures we are going to have!”

A whole new series of adventures begin next weekend as Karly and Brody’s decade-long love story adds a new chapter and launches them into a future filled with family, friendships, field trips, and firefighting.

Meet RYANN and JUSTIN!

They’re getting married next weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Ryann and Justin met in their third year of university while travelling around New Zealand as part of an exchange program they were both participating in.

“It took us travelling thousands of kilometers just to find somebody that was right there all along,” Justin observed.

“We have grown together through our 20s,” Ryann added, “and each year, our love for one another has grown more and more.”

So much more, in fact, that on the weekend of November 26, 2022, Justin booked a villa on a wildlife reserve on Kangaroo Island in South Australia to hop & pop the question and ask Ryann to marry him.

Next weekend, a new adventure awaits.

“I think, more than anything, I am looking forward to the ongoing process of falling further in love with who she is and the life we are so fortunate to create together,” Justin confided.

“We have put our relationship first and built something beautiful together,” Ryann told us. “Justin is everything I could have ever dreamed of, and more. I could not picture myself with a better man than Justin.”

Meet STACY and RYLEE!

They’re getting married this weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

When they decided to give the online dating world a try back in February 2023, it was a stumble on Bumble that brought them into each other’s orbits. Stacy matched with Rylee — her only match...and Rylee’s too!

“I was a little late to the party,” Rylee admitted, “but it was easy to be a tough confident guy flirting with this beautiful woman behind a screen.”

“We talked for two days before Ry said, ‘Any plans later?’” Stacy recalls.

And those plans quickly evolved into a friendship and an intimate relationship. Last summer, Rylee proposed to Stacy during a cottage getaway, and this weekend they will promise to continue building on the foundation they have established for a future with one another.

“We are so blessed already with our home and our fur babies and each other,” Stacy shared. “We have worked so hard individually and as a couple on learning how to be our best selves. I’m just plain old excited for life with Rylee everyday.”

Rylee is anxious to climb all the mountains, cross all the streams, and weather every storm hand in hand with Stacy by their side.

“Love, loss, laughter, arguments, health, sickness, joy, sadness, pride, disappointments, homes, pets, children, cuddling at night, cuddling in the morning, poking fun, being annoyed.... all of it, they admitted. “With her…only her…for as long as we both shall live. (see what I did there?)”

Meet SHANEL and DANIEL!

They’re getting married this weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Shanel and Daniel met through a mutual friend in October of 2018 while walking the Kingbridge Conference Centre hiking trail.

That walk saw them take their first steps down the path to forever.
Their mutual respect, care, and love for family and for one another has brought them to this moment - when they will exchange vows and promise to love, honour, and cherish each other for a lifetime.

“I am so looking forward to continue growing together,” Daniel confided, “to purchasing our first home, planning our future, raising beautiful children, and growing old with the love of my life.”

“We are both spontaneous,” Shanel shared, “and we sometimes challenge each other, but we also give each other space to grow when needed.”

The seed of a happy and healthy marriage has been planted and we can’t wait to shine a little light on the story they have started writing and will continue to cultivate together.

One of the happiest moments for us is when an engaged couple reaches out nearly a year before their wedding and tells us that they believe the officiant is one of their top priorities. We’ve been saying it from the beginning – the ceremony, unlike a cake or décor, is something that will last in people’s memories for years to come.

Meet JORDANA and JOHN!

They’re getting married next weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Jordana and John met via the online dating app Bumble in February 2019.

“Jordana was my first and only dating app date,” John admitted.

“I was always looking for someone who would be my similar, not my opposite, and my equal,” Jordana shared. “Someone who would share the responsibilities of work and the fun of play with me, and someone whose life would intertwine with mine.”

Jordana knew that she found that someone in John because after six months, they made it official and began to dream about their future together.

“I am looking forward to spending every moment with my best friend and laughing through life together,” John shared.

In August 2022, they were engaged in the picturesque town of Niagara on the Lake, and this weekend they will promise each other a lifetime of continued laughter and love in the company of their closest family and friends.

Meet NADIA and MARIO!

They’re getting married next weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Nadia and Mario met online in March 2021. By April, they were dating.

“This may sound a little crazy,” Nadia admitted, “but I knew he was the one only three months into the relationship. His kindness permeates any room he walks into and it didn’t take long to fall in love with it.”

In July 2023, Mario proposed to Nadia in the backyard of their newly renovated home in the presence of their loved ones and friends. This weekend, they will gather those same friends and loved ones to publicly declare their love and commitment to one another in marriage.

“I am filled with gratitude to say that he is truly my best friend. And, with everyday we continue to grow, heal, and thrive through our past and present circumstances. All while maintaining mutual love and respect for one another at all times.”

What is Mario most looking forward to in his lifetime with Nadia? “Two words. Absolutely everything.”

Meet JESSICA and DANIEL!

They’re getting married next weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Jessica and Daniel were both attending the University of Toronto in Mississauga when they first met at a mutual friend’s birthday party back in 2006.

They forged an immediate friendship that quickly evolved into something more.

“It was a gradual process getting to know each other,” Daniel shared. “We just always wanted to be together and the more time we spent together, the better it got.”

In December 2022, watching the sun go down on a beach in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, Daniel got down on one knee and asked Jessica to walk down the aisle with him.

“I am so proud and grateful for the life we have already built,” Jessica confided. “I look forward to continuing to experience all the new adventures life will throw at us and laughing through all of it each and every day.”

Meet CARLEY and RYAN!

They’re getting married next weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Carley and Ryan weren’t playing games when they first met seven years ago. They forged a friendship and then a partnership that has withstood the usual ups and downs of a developing relationship.

“Over the last few years, especially after COVID and being apart, I realized I didn’t want to be apart from him ever again,” Carley shared.

In September of 2022, on their first real vacation together, Ryan proposed to Carley at the picturesque Peggy’s Cove just outside of Halifax.

This weekend, in a gathering of friends and loved ones, they’re going to declare their intention to build a lifetime together on a foundation of love, laughter, fun, and games.

“I’ve already shared my life with Carley for some time and couldn’t imagine things any other way,” Ryan told us. “Rather than starting our life together, I view this as a celebration of our relationship and our commitment to one another.”
