Meet JENNA and PATRICK!

They’re getting married next weekend and The Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

These high school sweethearts met 15 years ago. Jenna was a junior and Patrick was a senior.

“At the time, I told myself to enjoy this time while it lasts, because it will probably not last forever,” Jenna recalls.

“As we got to know each other more, the feeling of ‘this just feels right’ settled in,” Patrick shared.

So right, in fact, that thirteen years later – on November 23, 2023 – with the help of their dog Goose, Patrick popped the question and Jenna jumped for joy with an enthusiastic YES!

“I am very much looking forward to the small moments together — coffee, movies, and enjoying the mundane things in life,” Jenna told us. “I am excited about future plans.“

“I want to start a family and make many more memories with family and friends,” Eddie confided.

Memories will be made next weekend when Jenna and Patrick take a take a walk down the aisle side with us!

Some friendly advice:

When reaching out to wedding vendors or posting on social media, it’s important to remember that how you ask matters just as much as what you’re asking for. While we totally understand that budgets are a top priority, approaching your inquiries with respect and sensitivity goes a long way in building positive relationships.

For example, starting an email with “How cheap are you?” can come across as off-putting. Professional vendors, understand budgets and are happy to work with you within your range—but it’s important to ask with kindness. Imagine if the tables were turned, and a vendor asked you, “How cheap are you planning on making your wedding?” It’s not exactly the best way to kick things off, right?

Social media can often be flooded with requests for the “cheapest” vendor in every category, from florals to photography. While there are definitely talented, budget-friendly vendors, we urge you to be thoughtful and considerate with your wording. After all, wedding vendors are working hard to create something special and meaningful for your day, and how we communicate can set the tone for a positive partnership.

So, when reaching out, consider phrasing that reflects respect for the work vendors put into their craft. We’re all here to help make your day unforgettable—let’s make sure we start on the right foot!

Meet CAROLINE and EDDIE!

They’re getting married this weekend and the Marry Men are thrilled to tell their story.

Caroline and Eddie initially met in during a series of social outings with a group of mutual friends. One conversation led to another and eventually to a drive-in movie in October 2020 to take in a horror double feature. But they weren’t afraid of what would happen next.

“We had so much passion and spark right away,” Caroline recalls. “It just felt so right.”

“When I first met Caroline, I immediately liked her,” Eddie admitted.

He liked her so much, in fact, that talk of marriage crept into conversations within the first couple of weeks of their relationship. After a year and a half of dating, the hunt for an engagement ring began, and on May 30, 2022, Eddie proposed to Caroline.

“I can’t wait to build the life I’ve always wanted,” Caroline shared. Which, according to Eddie, includes starting a family in the near future!

The future for Caroline and Eddie starts this weekend and The Marry Men are excited to set them on their way.

Behind the scenes: Helpful words from my hubby 🖤

I wanted to share something Michael told me tonight when something didn’t go as I had planned or imagined. Truth is I was feeling very down and a little defeated. Michael looked right at me and said, “Babe, don’t get caught up on this small rejection, maybe life is telling you that something much bigger is waiting for you.”

There are so many affirmations out there, so many gurus and motivational quotes, so many reels popping up on social media with motivational quotes and phrases, but sometimes you hear the right words at the right time from the person who matters the most to you.

If anyone out there is struggling or if something didn’t turn out how you expected, I hope Michael’s words can help you too. It’s these small, meaningful moments that make me love him in ways that are hard to put into words.

His words inspire me to keep going, to work harder, and to trust that something or someone is watching out for me.

Life isn’t always perfect. Thankful for my husband’s words. Thankful for my husband’s love.

Happy 57th Anniversary Ron and Lloyd!

February 3rd marks a monumental milestone for two people who have been a constant presence in my life since 1997. Over the years, you’ve not only supported me but welcomed Michael into our circle with open arms and hearts. It’s hard to put into words all that you’ve taught us—about love, resilience, and the importance of celebrating each other every single day.

We are in awe of your nearly 60 years together, your countless dinners, trips, swims, tough conversations, and the way you’ve been there for us during the hardest moments—whether it was offering a shoulder to cry on, a kind word, nights of guttural laughter, or simply being a steady presence. You’ve shared in our joys and sorrows, and those moments will forever be treasured.

Having you both by our side in our wedding party and walking down the aisle with us in 2016, and then hosting our reception at your home, is a memory we will never forget. The love you show us has been a constant reminder of what it means to truly love and be loved.

Thank you for opening your hearts to the 20-year-old boy who needed guidance—and sometimes a little tough love. Thank you for putting up with me during my not-so-great moments, and for always reminding us of how proud you are of us and our marriage. You have taught Michael and to have patience and respect for each other.

We love you both so much. Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and memories. Our promise is to be an example of everything you’ve taught us.

Reflecting…

2024 was a year filled with heartwarming experiences for The Marry Men. We had the privilege of collaborating with some of the kindest couples, passionate vendors, and incredible venue teams who welcomed us with open arms. Together, we created unforgettable moments and shared beautiful stories.

We’ve always believed in magic, and this year reinforced that belief. The magical moments we’ve experienced have set a high bar for us, shaping who we are and what we stand for. At our core, we are storytellers, and we believe that couples deeply in love deserve a narrative that truly reflects the many adventures they’ve shared.

2024’s many moments reminded us that we only want to work with people who inspire us. The wedding industry can be tricky, and we don’t have room for anything less than stellar.
