My take on the candle and table greens and flowers look.

Though this is considered a low budget option… The costs add up with candles, vases, flowers, greens, labour and design. And if you are on a tight schedule and need extra people $$$. All things to consider vs. a pre-made arrangement that can just be placed on the table.

These ceremony arrangements were huge! We wanted to make an impact on the ceremony space. Using white pillars to stand out against the dark wood of the gazebo. The great thing about ceremony arrangements like this are very simple to move to the reception room. Multi purpose stretches your dollar if you plan it right. Doing complicated arches sometimes means it can’t be moved. Though it’s considered more “traditional ” you can accommodate the design and pillars to suit your venue.

I love working at Piper's Heath Golf Club. If you are getting married there next year. I’d love to chat!

Drumroll please….. In 2024 we were able to donate $960 to as a portion of my profits from the year. I do my calculations based on all my weddings from the year (I have a system) to make monthly donations for the next calendar year…. And this year I am so happy with the gift that I was able to contribute.

Life is hard. Life is expensive. I know flowers are a luxury product. Even though I love my job and the joy that flowers bring, I know that feeding yourself and your family is a priority.

Giving $$$ to your food bank makes the most impact vs buying food. I’m glad my partner and I were able to feed our family and share a portion of my wedding profits to feed my hungry neighbours. Mississauga has declared food insecurity as a city wide emergency. I’m just doing my part.

A very clean, modern bouquet featuring mini cymbidiums, callas, Playa Blanca roses and freesia. The bride chose the elongated style to match her very wide and fluffy dress!

A more petite ceremony piece. It worked well in the smaller space. With no wedding party and only 40 guests, we kept it low key for this couple who wed this summer

When the freesia arrive completely closed…. 🥲 But it’s ok. Cause this weather will make them pop open. Here they are on the back deck in the heat but not the sun. They’ve still got to last through all day Saturday. Give it a while. Update soon to come.
