Colours can be a hit or miss especially at a wedding, most couples have a colour in mind but in reality the mix does not achieve the desired inspo. It is important to trust your designer's advice on the suggested ways to apply colour and still make it luxurious. We did a black draping for Shanta & Ryan's wedding with vibrant red florals on the stage, with accents of gold to execute a dramatic but luxurious look.

How to ensure you create a memorable experience for your event without the stress. Skimping on decor while focussing on other aspects of your event is a common mistake. People often make you believe "Luxury Decor is not necessary" or you start shopping around and think decor isn't worth the cost.
By carefully curating decor for your event, compromising on your inspo you can still achieve the outcome. You easily spend over 4K for a photographer who has no props, no major staffing or storage yet the decor companies who is working with storage costs, inventory, labour cost to design the week of. What do you think they are worth? Don't you want to create an unforgettable experience without the stress but leaves a lasting impression on your guests? Business means different things to many of us and while yes the final outcome is to be financially free, the longer I stay in business, the more I am digging deeper to design our journey with purpose and passion because if passion and love is deep rooted in what you do then the abundance will come right?
I have made some incredible friends over the series of events and while I was the preferred florist, I never took the role for granted, when we started the florals it became even more personal to me.

At Pure Lush Designs and Co we do more than just wedding decor and design, we also do full planning for corporate events. When putting together a corporate event we need to understand your goal for the event. Is it generating team sprit, appreciation, to create a luxury experience? Next, we discuss a theme, in this case our client wanted "Christmas at the North Pole" and we decided it would be a great idea to bring back that childhood Christmas Spirit of excitement and nostalgia as adults. The client loved the idea, so we curated and designed a stage that embodied the North Pole magic, the table names were based on Christmas feelings and designed to match the custom North Pole Arch, The centerpieces also mirrored the evergreen frost theme wtih wood as the base. We hired an Emcee who appeared as Santa Claus and then reappeared as the Grinch being interactive during stage time and awards. Live Christmas music was played to set the tone as guests entered the room and engaged with an interactive photo booth.
The result: A team who felt appreciated and bonded producing better results when they went back to work knowing how much time, money and effort their company spent to create magic. See you in 11 months .logistics aka .group

It's your big day and while you may be on a budget, weddings and events are all about creating a unique experience. Think about the last time you attended an event, were you blown away or was it just meh? What elements do you remember? The reality is to create an experience it costs money, loads of it, so if you have a minimal budget scale back on the number of guests so you can still provide an overall experience for your friends and family. Decor does not have to be over the top but it does set the mood for the room. Think about Christmas without a Christmas tree? Is it just any other party? Plan you wedding far enough and book vendors early enough so you have time to put away xx amount of dollars from each paycheque to afford a beautiful wedding, after all what do you want to be remembered for and how do you want to remember your wedding?

Here we designed a couple's 20 year anniversary party which took place in their home, not only did they save on venue cost, it was cosy and casual but still an elevated vibe with their closest friends.
