We're kickstarting our first Learning Circle for 2025! This time we're joined by legendary Arthur Hull who will be presenting to us about TRIPLICLITIES.

So what is a triplicity, and how does that make us better drum circle facilitators? Triplicities are used to visualize facilitation technologies, techniques, and philosophies. Each element of a triplicity is like a tripod, holding the others up while leaning into the same point for support. When three elements of a triplicity are in balance, it provides you with a strong platform to facilitate and learn. Triplicities are the ingredients to create rhythmical alchemy in your rhythm-based events.

Learning Circles are FREE for DCFG members with an access code (check your DCFG membership registered email). Non-members are welcome to attend for a fee of 20$.

8th day of Chinese New Year! Sam got invited to bring the drums to Yee Hong Day Program in Mississauga and running it solo. First time ever to mix singing traditional CNY songs with guitar playing, games and drum circle facilitations within an hour and it went well.

Thankful for having me this year!

🎶🥁 Yesterday, residents at Wellbrook Place West enjoyed a lively and engaging drumming program as part of the Seniors Arts & Music Series (SAMS)! Led by Sam, this wonderful activity brought joy, enhanced sensory therapy, and encouraged physical engagement for all who participated.

SAMS, presented by the Mississauga Arts Council l and funded by the Government of Ontario, brings free in-person arts and entertainment experiences to long-term care and retirement homes across Mississauga.

We’re thrilled to be part of this incredible program and can’t wait for upcoming events, including a jazz band, painting classes, and more! Stay tuned for more updates. 🎨🎷✨

🎉🥁 What an unforgettable birthday bash with a beat! 🥳 This wasn’t your typical kids’ party—this was a 3-generation family celebration where grandma stole the show! 🌟

We drummed together, laughed together, and celebrated life, love, and legacy. There’s something so special about seeing kids, parents, and grandparents connecting through rhythm. It’s proof that music knows no age—just pure joy and togetherness.

Who knew a drum circle could turn into a heartwarming family reunion? 💕 A huge thank you to this beautiful family for letting us be part of such a meaningful day!

🎂🥁 Drum circles aren’t just for kids—they’re for every milestone and every age. Let’s celebrate life, one beat at a time!

Yes, if you want to say that I was a drum major, say that I was a drum major for justice, say that I was a drum major for peace, I was a drum major for righteousness, and all the other shallow things will not matter."..MLK February 4, 1968
