Catch The Last Ace Tickets are $5 each and the draw will be every Wednesday at 6:00pm at the Irishtown Community Centre. You DO NOT need to be a member or be present to play.

Proceeds of our Catch the LAST Ace goes towards the community centre to help with programs, activities, events etc.

Tickets will be on Sale weekly from Thursday until Wednesday 5:45pm at the Irishtown Community Centre. See open times on Facebook or website.

TUESDAY - July 16th - Mad Scientist Theme

Today we have the pleasure to welcome young 4H members who will be presenting us their bunnies, teaching us how to handle and care for their adorable fur friends. After the bunnies have gone home we will dedicate some time to fun kid friendly Science experiments including some that our campers will get to taste in the afternoon. We will even get to make a rainbow!

Since it's forecasting rain we probably won't be spending much time outside. We will create bird houses with wooden sticks which we will decorate and play games in our back hall. In the afternoon we will be having a Delicious Free Honey Sundae.

July 9th - NATURE WEEK

We will begin our day with free play followed by a few ice breaking games. We will be picking up flowers on the way back from our time at the playground at the Mountain View school which will later be used to make botanical impressions in clay. We will then be collecting lichen and moss in a quest to find Tardigrades while on our nature hike in our trail which we will hopefully find under the microscope. After our snack we have the honour of welcoming Brian the Beekeeper that will be bringing a hive and speaking to us about bees and honey. We will get to try some of his delicious honey in the Free Sundae we will be providing as a snack in the afternoon after lunch. We will finish off our day planting seeds in our garden.
