August might seem far off but it’s never too soon to mention our Old Fashioned Family Picnic that will take place Saturday August 17th from Noon-4pm.

This is always a super fun event for the entire family and we’ve added a new vendor to the mix so the adults can have some fun playing too. Halimac Axe Throwing will be on site for the big kids this year along with our wonderful returning vendors; Miramichi Accessible Transit shuttle service, McKenna Entertainment with face painting, Funtastic Inflatables with a bouncy castle and slide, Miramichi Art Core Plein Air artists, Judy Vautour quilts, William Davidson, The Campbell Boys BBQ, The Healing Farm Petting Zoo and The Steeves Brothers Bearded Bards and we’ll have sno-cones once again. 🎶🪓🎩🎨🍧🐰🐷🧺🎻🚌🍔🌭🏰

The things you’ll need cash for is the axe throwing, BBQ and the quilt and art sale. (Debit and credit available). You can pack your own lunch if you’d like and picnic under the pines. Make it your newest family tradition.

We were so busy I only took the time to take one picture. It’s one of the new designs that I’m adding to my “popular design” options.

Face painted at an awesome 9th birthday party yesterday at the . The venue is huge so the parents were able to have a ton of activities activities. The air conditioning was a huge bonus for me! 😂

I have exciting news to share! I will be transferring with my Mon-Fri job to in September 2024 where I will also be relaunching my face painting & glitter tattoo business.

It’s hard to believe my family moved to almost 10 years ago. You’ve embraced our family run entertainment business with open arms. We’ve been invited into your homes and businesses to help celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, reunions, and more!

Attention Miramichers,

Between June 7th-9th, expect to see a larger than normal police presence in and around our city. The Miramichi Police Force will be hosting the Atlantic 911 Ride.

The Atlantic 911 Ride is a police-escorted motorcycle tour that takes place in a different Atlantic province each year on a three-year rotation. This ride raises awareness about fallen first responders from police, fire, and ambulance services who have passed away in the line of duty to their communities. Funds raised during this ride will go towards supporting the families of these first responders and placing defibrillators into various communities in memory of the fallen first responders.

Our ride will see over 100 participants with police escorts from 18 policing agencies, not only from the three Atlantic provinces but from Ontario as well.

Should you wish to view our ride parade, we will be leaving the RODD Miramichi parking lot at 0830 on both Saturday, June 8th, and again on Sunday, June 9th.

On Saturday, we will be driving the length of King St before departing the city and heading towards Neguac, Tracadie, Caraquet, and Bathurst.

On Sunday, we will be traveling on Water St towards Loggieville before leaving the city and heading towards Baie St. Anne, Pointe-Sapin, Kouchibouguac, Acadieville, and Rogersville.

The finish point for our ride will be on Sunday at approximately 2:30 PM at the NBCC on University Ave.

Please feel free to come out to meet our visiting officers and the ride participants at the NBCC.
