Every year around the holidays, I make giftboxes of my best sellers for my friends and family and this year, I’m extending my services to my past followers!

My menu will include my famous Cashew Bliss, Chocolate Macaroons, Pecan Sandies, Double Walnut Brownies and Snickerdoodles!

Cabin fever is starting to hit me but at least I’m stuck at home with these Chocolate Pumpkin Cookies πŸ«πŸŽƒπŸͺ
1 Cup Almond Flour
3/4 Cup Pumpkin PurΓ©e
1/4 Cup Cane Sugar
1/4 Cup Flaxmeal
1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
Form into 1” balls and flatten. Add a few chocolate chips on top and bake at 350F for 18-20 minutes. Yields 11 small cookies.

Rainy days call for COOKING DAYS! Ah, my favourite days. 😌 these Beet Burgers are A-MA-ZING!! Packed with iron, vitamin Bs, fiber and antioxidants, this is exactly what this chicki needed for a good boost! ❀️
2 Cups beets, shredded
1/2 Cup mushrooms, sautΓ©ed
1/2 Cup onions, sautΓ©ed
1 Cup quinoa, cooked
3/4 Cup rice flour
1/3 Cup nutritional yeast
salt & pepper to taste
Yields 4 burgers.
Eat raw or cook in a frying pan for a few minutes each side.

A little Saturday Schooling πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ«

The other day I saw "Sprouted Granola" at the grocery store, they were almost $12 for a small bag that didn't contain more than one cups' worth. I thought they were a little (very) overpriced considering making homemade sprouted granola at home is so much cheaper. But not everyone knows how simple it is, so here's a little lesson on how to make your own and save some moolah! πŸ’°

How to sprout your nuts at home:

1. Soak your nuts overnight (or over a period of 6-8 hours)
2. Rinse them thoroughly afterwards.
3. Pap them dry.
4. Dehydrate for 12 hours. (115F)

Why sprouted nuts over regular nuts though? πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Sprouting nuts increases their nutrient bioavailability, which means all their nutrients are more easily absorbed by the body. πŸ’ͺ🏼 Simply soaking your nuts (6-8 hours) and rinsing them afterwards breaks down their phytic acid (enzyme inhibitors), which is an antinutrient that binds with minerals and prevents their absorption. They become a lot easier for your body to digest. Often times people feel heavy after eating nuts so I often recommend doing this process! It does wonders. ✨

I mixed up this bowl of numminess yesterday and it turned out amazing! 🀀

Sprouted Brazilian Pineapple Granola πŸ’πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

1/2 Cup Brazil Nuts, soaked and rinsed
1/2 Cup Almonds, soaked and rinsed
1/2 Cup oats
1/4 Cup h**p seeds
1 Cup Pineapple (cut into small pieces)
1/3-1/2 Cup Maple Syrup
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp salt (or more if you like sweet/salty)

Mix everything in a bowl. ISpread onto a sheet, speinkle some cane sugar on top, then pop it into the dehydrator for at least 12 hours at 115F. This baby has it ALL πŸ‘…
