As many of you know I have been performing magic for kids, all ages, adults only and close-up tableside/strolling magic at private and public events. Over the last 3 years of the pandemic I have been focusing on Mentalism, which has to do with the mind (mind reading). Ive had kids and all ages shows for years (they aren't going anywhere) and I wanted to start something new. I am planning to put on my first theater show this fall. Over the last few years I have been working on new material and putting together a show in which I think everyone will really enjoy. My plan is to book a venue for mid October. That gives me (and you) plenty of time to get everything sorted and clear the schedule that evening. It will also allow me to start selling tickets sooner than later. It will be in Moose Jaw; and if this goes over well I will be doing a variety of public shows every few months from then on. Kids shows, all ages, adults only comedy magic/mentalism, and mentalism focused shows. I still have to secure the date but tickets will likely be $15-25 (no higher than 25) depending on the amount owing to rent the theater. I will also include a package where ticket prices will be discounted for family. The show will be family friendly but I feel that mentalism speaks stronger to those who are older (however I will have material in which children/all ages will understand and enjoy). If this is something that interests you let me know and I will keep record and contact you once details are secured and tickets are ready to be sold. I think this is something different for everyone here in Moose Jaw and I'm hoping to start something fun that happens occasionally. I think it would be a good night out for all. Let me know if it's something you would be interested in seeing! :)

Update on Magic by Chris (kids parties/birthdays, walk around/table hopping and all ages shows for events, functions and parties), as well as Chris Edwards - Adult Comedy Magic (Parties, functions and events). I am open for business, taking bookings, following Covid-19 guidelines. I have revamped and upgraded my kids shows (social distancing), and my all ages and adult 18+ comedy magic shows have been upgraded substantially. Please Share!

Anyone curious about what I am doing to prevent the spread of Covid-19 as an entertainer:

1. Props, equipment and materials I bring with me while performing will be sanitized (if they are reusable), or new (things that are fully or partially exhausted during performance).

2. As my shows are created heavily with audience interaction and participation, certain effects will be swapped out or performed solo under a different story line. Routines with audience participation will happen at a distance whenever possible. This may not sound like participation to some of you, but participation doesn't necessarily mean I have a person on stage with me, but rather participating from their seat.

3. I will shower before leaving home, and wash my hands again before and after performing (I do this anyway, but it doesn't hurt to mention), and I encourage everyone I perform for to do the same.

4. If I am not feeling %100 I will try let you know in advance as far ahead if time as possible and I encourage others to do the same if you have hired me for entertainment.

5. If you are having to postpone or cancel a show last minute, at this time there will be no penalty as I understand the severity of the situation. But please try and let me know as far in advance are possible.

With that said, my entertainment business provides an important source of income for my family and I. I would rather take necessary precautions than just "STOP".. But I do understand if you are self isolating, recovering, or taking distant precautions yourself. I believe in taking preventive measures, but I also want you to feel comfortable in having me at your party or event without fear of possibly spreading the virus further.

2 Days, 4 Shows (one close-up, 2 kids shows and one R-Rated Adult show) and that's a wrap! I'm burnt out, haha. BUT, I am very grateful for the opportunities and joy we all shared. No complaints, as I know many of my fellow entertainers have had cancellations due to precaution with Covid-19. I too am waiting to hear back on a few shows at this time. I hope the full time entertainers I know are able to stay afloat during this time. Thanks everyone for having me out, it's been a great weekend!! :)
