Justin McKinney (JT) is an upcoming Drum and Bass DJ, Artist and Producer based out of Edmonton, AB, Canada.

JT grew up in the small town of Niton Junction, AB, Canada and moved to the big city 16 years ago. Music and art has always been a strong passion and when he is not on the decks he’s usually out in his garage with his woodworking projects and crafting!

JT has been in the music scene for fifteen years but started his professional career two years ago when his true love of bass music hit at Shambhala Music Festival. During the pandemic, JT gained exposure to his art through live streams and Twitch in which he continues every Sunday and Wednesday through his Twitch channel, JTgaragesessions; playing high energy Drum and Bass that is for sure to get you off your seat and dancing at home! Throughout the summer 2021, JT has performed at sold out events and festivals throughout Alberta and BC.

In the past couple of years, JT has written and produced multiple tracks. His new single “Voice from Within” has been sold dozens of times on BandCamp two weeks after its release, and has been heard and played globally by artists around the world through live streams and events.
