Good Morning folks,

Although we are not curling we still need to keep the club in our minds and our focus. Off season fundraising is important as we move forward with the header replacements in the ice shed. This is essential in order to make ice and be able to curl this winter.
Upcoming events: Get out and sell the Ball Bounce tickets that you have. Money and tickets can be given to Nancy Cronkhite, Tom Bak or Sandy Taylor.
We need people to help sell Ball Bounce tickets at the Craft Market in Nackawic on Thursday evenings. The market runs from 4 to 7 PM but if you are only able to be there for an hour that would be helpful. Contact Nancy at 575 8472. Someone from 5 until 7 is needed for this week; July 11.

Festival on the Bend:
:Booth in the Arena: The curling club will have a booth in the arena and helpers to set it up will be needed. We will also need workers to be at the booth on Saturday. We will be promoting the club by handing out our brochures, selling tickets on a handmade quilt and encouraging new people to sign up for a draw for a free membership for the season. Please respond to this email if you are able to help.


The parade: Anyone interested in organizing a float for the parade? If so, please respond to this email.

Save The Date: The curling club has agreed to provide bagged lunches for all the fishermen, in the Fishing Derby, being held in Nackawic from Sept 26 to Sept 28th. This means lots and lots of sandwiches to be made as well as cooking the meat for the sandwiches. We will need many helpers. Please consider volunteering. More info to follow as the plans are finalized.

The simulator will be set up for the summer in the Nackawic Curling Club. Stay tuned for hours of operation. Planning to have availability 2-3 nights a week and Saturday afternoon.
Also note, during operating hours the curling club bar will be open to provide cold beverages.
