We are an inclusive, compassionate group hoping to plant seeds led by the feminine. Based out of BC. Please join us in solidarity. We are excited to try new ways to advocate for the animals and build alliances. Based out of BC this group and our events/ actions are non-violent, respectful demonstrations. We are an inclusive and compassionate group hoping to plant seeds and connect with others to e
ducate the public on the truth behind animal agriculture. Our Mission:
Our mission is to dismantle oppression further and establish harmony with one another and mother earth. It is a scientific fact that the worlds consumption, farming and use of animals is a top contributor to chronic disease, pandemics, ocean dead zones, wildlife extinction, habitat destruction, and greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, we believe mass action is required to help bring awareness to this unconscious violence on the world, our children, and the gentle giants we call farm animals. What we do/ Who we are:
We organize and support animal rights actions, repeat what has been done by other activists, experiment with new ideas, help others, and have some fun. As a group of diverse organizers, we inspire others to make a change. We think it is vital to recognize marginalization and strive for advocacy and inclusivity. Our goal is to build a supportive environment for all, led by the compassionate spirit. This also includes facilitating ways of connecting with other like minds. Strategy:
By committing to act, we take an oath to stop normalizing the consumption and use of animals. To stop the normalization includes finding the courage to be a bystander no longer. This is no easy task and requires resilience, accountability, self-care, and a community of support. We believe advocating for animal rights includes how we interact with the world and others. Change is fostered in a safe and accepting environment. The further we push away others, the more it becomes about ourselves and not the animals. This includes holding one another accountable, striving to remain in our integrity, continuing to learn from our mistakes, and getting comfortable with the discomfort. “Conflict resolution is evolution” (unknown). We are committed to finding ways to create supportive networks for activists and allies and to provide a safe space to be heard and seen. Disclaimer:
We believe there is a place for all types of activism to facilitate change and support peaceful non-violent civil disobedience. Some of our events and values will not resonate with you; that is okay. We encourage you to be selective in what you choose to participate in or start an affinity group that is more in line with your soul, purpose, and/ or passion. We encourage you to be brave, take a stand, and support your allies by allowing them to do what they do. This includes maintaining respectful communication and approaching with curiosity where you may see areas of improvement. Ridiculing, blaming, shaming, or slandering is violence and further separates us from facilitating the growth we want to see. Let us approach each other with respect and compassion in our advocacy for the animals.

Hey earthlings,
Our latest outreach event was a success! We all had positive conversations with a variety bystanders, some of whom expressed a commitment to embracing Veganism. Taking them for their word, that’s less demand for animal agriculture and consequently less animals bred into an existence of suffering.
ANIMALS NEED YOU to publicly advocate for their rights and normalize a culture where furthering their exploitation is unacceptable. Consistent, conversational, and civil outreach is a necessary and inevitable part of this paradigm shift.
If not now, when? If not you, who? The vegans of Victoria are needed to make this positive change for animals, so join us! Challenge yourself, and ask what the animals would want you to do.
If you have any feedback or suggestions about how we currently or should be doing things, please leave a comment. Are there better times and places to be holding events? Do people want more education or workshops before outreaching? Would you prefer a different format or structure in our demonstrations? I’m happy to here anything and everything, as I am interested in doing whatever it takes to maximize our impact.
Stay strong,
Paul F.
Even if you have signed and sent a letter already, please do it again. You can have a bigger impact by changing the title or first line or better still, send a letter from your own email. Ask them to either NOT renew or only for 1 year at MOST.
They are proposing to renew for 6 years this coming Thursday.
Take action now to contact Victoria mayor and council and tell them not to renew the horse carriage lease for another 5 years.
What a beautiful day for some vegan outreach! Hundreds of Victorians saw us and our footage, many of whom stopped to engage with our message.
Thanks to all the newcomers for standing with us. You all made excellent additions to the team and we hope to see you again.
See you at the next one! (I’ll shoot for mid-April).

Do animals or people have to die before our city puts itself on the right side of history?
Please send a short, polite note to Victoria decisionmakers at [email protected]
The horse carriage lease renewal hearing happens in 3 weeks and they need to hear from as many people as possible!
