I recently did a shoot with E’s wonderful family, and she asked if we could do a wardrobe change near the end. She switched out of her white dress to this stunning floral and let her curls down.

In motherhood, it’s easy for us to get caught up in the caretaking role and put ourselves on the back burner. But that wild woman, she’s still there. Let her out and let her shine. ❤️

I’ve started doing social marketing for .nanaimo and and I cannot think of a better fit to combine my values with my creativity. I align with their dedication to support local, whether that be the pottery dishes they source from a local artist or the ingredients they get from farms in town. Where you spend your energy is where things grow, and these restaurants help support the growth of our community. I feel very honoured to be playing a small part to elevate their business.

Reflecting back on all the amazing moments I got to capture this past year. It’s been a wild ride. It brings me so much joy to be able to video or photograph such intimate parts of peoples lives and know that imagery will be keepsakes for years to come.

I am booking up quickly for 2024, and am officially open up for booking 2025 weddings as well.

Merry Christmas to your family from ours.

I had the amazing privilege of being able to photograph so many families during this holiday season in the new studio, and what I’ve come to cherish is how every family is put together so uniquely different. You may be celebrating Christmas this season with all your loved ones, shuffling kids between houses, surrounded by friends, or quietly alone. Whatever your unique situation is, I hope it’s exactly where you feel at home.

This Christmas is spent with my two boys. No extended family. No friends. Just the three of us. It’s been quiet since 630pm, and I am grateful the house has been filled of laughter all day. My heart is full ❤️

So much love this beautiful human ❤️ Janet contacted me the first year I started doing Christmas minis and asked if dogs were allowed. I asked her how many? She said 14. And that began the chaotic, but always entertaining Christmas shoots with her family (all 14 dogs included). It has been an honour to watch her family grow through the years and get to know this beautiful human being. The best part of my job is getting to know so many wonderful people and being able to capture such precious moments in their lives. Just wanted to give a big shoutout to Janet for becoming a loyal client and amazing friend. ❤️
