This will all cross our paths one day; a funeral.
Before creating a funeral piece, I try to get as much information of what the person was like so I can create something that resembles their character.
For example, my mother loved gardening and birds, so I used birds and created a garden-like piece for her.
Once, I had a rancher that loved rodeo, so I put a lasso, barbed wire, feathers, and driftwood in his creation.
I also created something for someone that loved sailing boats, someone else loved going to Hawaii, and another loved drinking tea.
I also created some little hearts that I used at my parents’ funerals as a gift from their grandkids.
But, of course, you can also have a classic white floral piece for that memorable day.
