💙🔹️In realizing that there were female based shows put on called Queen Bee, as well it being close to the whole bee persona. I’ve decided to change the name of the night! I really didn’t realize that it was such a close one, and the way the name came about was super natural, but I really didn’t see something that was under my nose the entire time haha. It happens & I respect this obvious similarity and want to bring something completely unique, which is why imma change it up! Although I’m changing the name of the night it really doesn’t mean anything's different, except for one thing. I also respect this DJ’s rad choice of tunes, and the work he has put to the music community for years. Also one of the most diverse DJ’s I know personally & it would be silly not to have him come play the opening night, so we are adding Mr. B on the bill & I’m stoked about it :)
🔹🌿️The scene is or should be all about love and I wanna keep it that way, so come and bring a vibe with us! The room will fill up fast so get there early! 😜 💙✌ . . . . Oh and one more thing.

Although a specific sound of hiphop from the late 80’s + 90’s, the name focuses on the stripped down version of it all. The bass drum, and the snare drum. Two key elements that make up tons of music I love and will be curating this night with.

An -all inclusive- night showcasing musical selections by Mraki, and a number of diverse and talented special guests each night. boombap. aims to bring you an easy going, stripped back night of real music. A night that can be as hype as it is chill.
Inspired primarily by the old & new sounds of Hip Hop from all over the world, will be diving into Bass, Dub and low frequency vibes alike.. . . But that’s a general description. Expect diversity.
