Homespun specializes in wedding and event floral design. Offering custom designs for your special day including bouquets, boutonnières, centerpieces and everything in between. I was trained in floral design and have a passion for weddings! Available for custom design work for all your wedding floral requirements; table scapes, custom arrangements, bouquets, boutonniers and whatever else your heart

desires! I will work one-on-one with you, paying close attention to detail, with a creative eye for design. Based in New Glasgow, NS, serving all of northern Nova Scotia and beyond. Available by appointment only.
* No same day floral arrangements. Custom design-special order only
* orders must be places (at least) 2 weeks in advance. Weddings - 4 weeks (or more) in advance.

Hi Friends! I haven't posted on this page in so long but just wanted to update that I will be touching base with all the Brides I have booked for this year. I usually take a little winter break and am slowly getting things back on the go for 2022. I am totally booked at this time and as much as I'd love to book every Bride who contacts me, there is only one of me LOL The last few years have been challenging for everyone and our industry was no exception. Looking forward to a wonderful (and normal 🤞) wedding season for everyone! Take care 😘

Our Story

My name is Natalie MacKenzie and I'm a stay at home Mom of 2 little boys. I'm married to my best friend and the roles of wife and mom are the most important drivers of my life. I have been doing professional floral design for over 10 years, and created HOMESPUN in 2012. Since then I had the honour of making wedding flower dreams come true for many Brides. Available for custom design work for all your wedding floral requirements; bouquets, boutonnieres, table scapes, large arrangements, arch & pergola designs and all the pretty things your heart desires! I love texture and my designs are organic, rustic and often inspired by nature. I use locally sourced materials, homegrown elements and lush premium quality flowers.

I also create home decor & lifestyle pieces, keeping true to my favourite design styles, my hand painted wooden signs have a rustic, farmhouse feel. Made for everyday & holidays - also done custom, just for you! My tee's feature 'Mom life' sayings that are reflective of the beautiful place I am in my life. I am grateful for everyday and I am excited to share my passions with you -I hope you enjoy my work!
