Hey……well….we are back! We just received approval to build our second bathroom, and also approval to continue operating the arcade part time as we’ve been doing the past 4 years during non industrial hours (Our space is primarily used for Industrial use for our vending and ‘pop up’ rentals in the lower mainland by )

We are opening up the 2025 schedule today. To note, we will have a 2 week closure sometime early in 2025 for the bathroom build out and we will post when that will be. It’s such a relief to finally get past these two hurdles! A big thanks to everyone’s support during this time, everyone who shared our story only helped with us getting back on our feet, and we all are so lucky to have you nice people around. 🙏

Hello beloved followers and friends. We have some sad news to share. Industry Arcade will have to close at the end of 2024. Although both the city and building owners are on board for us to continue, we would need an ancillary use zoning amendment added to our license and this is the sticking point we can’t get around. We need to respect the decision the ownership made around this, as there’s lots of factors involved.

This is a surprise to all of us, with little notice to prepare for.

This whole venture has been a wonderful experience. From our hard working, passionate staff, to ALL of you that have been to our space has made it so worth it. It’s been the most fulfilling and rewarding experience we’ve ever done seeing all the happiness especially during some very dark times.

Where does that leave us? We can either find a cool new space, or we can collaborate with a fitting business and worth together on a 2.0 version.

Here’s how you can help. SHARE, like and repost. The more people that hear about this gives us more opportunities to find a new space. We will continue to post updates and there’s a lot of thank you’s we still need to do, so expect further posts as we move along. We may also open up additional drop in days over the next 6+ weeks if there is a demand for it.

Hello! Industry arcade is looking for an attendant, 2 shifts per week on Friday eve/weekends (approx 11 hours per week). This is a great job for a student or someone looking for a bit of consistent weekend work.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Living closeby
- very reliable and prompt
- comfortable around children, and able to talk effectively to them, ensuring their safety during their stay.
- Having a car could be beneficial for our other portion of business
- Mechanical ability and attention to detail is a great bonus
Age 19 years and up only.
