Trying to decide between a sweetheart table or a full head table? Here’s some things to consider 👇:

🌼 What’s the difference? A head table includes your whole wedding party and sometimes your immediate family, whereas the sweetheart table is just for the bride and groom.

🌼 Having a head table allows you to be immersed by your closest friends and family, sharing in the memories and joys of your reception.

🌼 Having a head table is a great way to honour your wedding party

🌼 Opting for a sweetheart table allows your wedding party and family to mingle amongst the rest of your guests throughout the reception.

🌼 Sweetheart tables are generally smaller in size allowing for more decor options and impact!

As planners, our #1 goal of the day is to make sure our couple is actually able to enjoy their wedding day! 🤍

Sounds like a no-brainer, but in the heat of the moment on the day it’s easy to get caught up and away! Here are a few tips that will help couples stay on the moment on the day:
- HIRE A PLANNER!! 🫶🏼
- be present and in the moment: put your phone away and designate a family/bridal party member to take photos and check your phone
- eat food and stay hydrated (WATER!!)
- have a private first look and enjoy the moment with your partner
- delegate any tasks that you really do not need to be doing
- trust that your vendor team will take care of everything and make your day a fairytale!

Your wedding flowers will create a statement and set the overall aesthetic for your wedding day. Your needs can range from anything like bouquets and bouttonnieres, to ceremony arrangements and reception pieces. 💐

Heres a few important questions you can ask your potential wedding florist:🌼

- I have determined my wedding style and budget. Will you be able to determine the types of floral arrangements would I need based on this?
- Are there certain flowers would you recommend based on the season, color palette, and budget?
- Are you able to recreate arrangements based on photos I’ve found?
- Are we able to view your portfolio of weddings you’ve recently done?
- Do you offerr other décor rentals? ( Think candles, card box, chuppah, votives, linens, etc.)?
- Am I able to repurpose my ceremony pieces to my reception? Are there any limitations to this?

Meet our coordinator Rachel 🌸

I’m Rachel, a Wedding Planner at Classic Affairs by Jenna.

From a young age I loved watching anything to do with weddings, and one of my first jobs was actually serving at various wedding venues. I did that for many years just to simply see the magic of weddings. Finally. I decided to combine my love of weddings with my passion for event planning and ex*****on. I now have a Post Graduate Certificate in Event Management and am WPIC certified.

The parts of the job that warm my heart the most are the small personalized details throughout the ceremony and decor, and witnessing true love, excitement and happiness on the big day. Outside of work you can find me creating DIY projects, reading and getting outside as much as possible.

I have been working in the hospitality industry for over 8 years, having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University in 2015. Weddings are my absolute passion. Having successfully executed over 500 weddings, I understand what it takes in order to have the day run flawlessly. From the smallest hiccup to those of a larger scale, it is my responsibility to ensure my couples are at ease throughout the entire process. There is no better feeling then knowing that I have made that special couples dreams come true on their big day!
