We're always looking for ways to help make a difference in our community, and our food recovery efforts in partnership with The Bridge Church in Niagara Falls helps to reduce our waste after and provide meals to those in need. Once a conference at our building has ended, it as a simple as safely storing any excess food, calling The Bridge for pick up and passing it along so they can prepare and re-distribute meals to those that need it most.

Next up for our meet the team spotlight is one of our Account Directors, Kaelan Henderson! In her role, Kaelan is responsible for driving new and repeat corporate conference business to our facility and destination of Niagara Falls, while ensuring that new and existing clients alike are well looked after with everything needed to run memorable, successful conferences here at Niagara Falls Convention Centre.
👤: Kaelan was born and raised in the provincial capital of Toronto, where she currently resides and works remotely from, as this allows her to best service our Corporate clientele. Although she may be a city gal, she has ties to the Golden Horseshoe and the Niagara region, as her family moved to Hamilton from the United Kingdom in the 1940s, and her grandparents lived just outside of Niagara-on-the-Lake, in the small town of Virgil for many years. Her favourite thing about Niagara is the upcoming fall foliage that will be spread across our beautiful region, and the bounty of quality, freshly farmed foods available year-round.
💼: Kaelan started at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre in the spring of 2018 as an Account Director and has been rocking it ever since. In her previous endeavours, she has always worked in sales, including various hotels in Toronto.
😎: Kaelan has always had a flair for the theatrics, including having auditioned as a child for a Christmas movie featuring Mary Steenbergen. On top of that, she even participated in a high school version of the musical “Hair”!
😊: When asked what her favourite part of working at NFCC is, she will say she enjoys representing the most beautiful facility in Niagara, and her “salt of the earth” coworkers of course!
One of the top features of Niagara Falls Convention Centre is our loading dock, due in part to the expansive room for trucks to maneuver, 7 loading bays, the drive-in ramp directly into our exhibit hall and easy access from main roadways. Clients, vendors and guests alike love the easy load in & load out they experience when they book at NFCC.
At Niagara Falls Convention Centre, we are deeply committed to being an environmentally sustainable building. One of the many ways we approach this challenge is to ensure that our building conserves energy by turning off all non-essential lighting when our building is quiet. These efforts are complimented by the abundance of natural light that is let in by our building's design.
Our approach to food and beverage focuses squarely on producing seasonal menus that are distinctly Niagara. Presented always in the most creative ways, and bursting with regional flavours, your menu choices will reflect our commitment to natural ingredients and house-made preparations.
Tomorrow afternoon, we will have a number of unique automobiles in our exhibit hall as we make way for Storm The Falls Vol. 5. As the largest indoor car show in the Niagara Region, Storm the Falls brings together a vibrant collection of automotive enthusiasts and aficionados. From timeless classics to sleek tuners, scorching hot rods, and lightning-fast race cars, this event promises an unforgettable experience for attendees and participants alike.

Over the past two days our Account Directors have been at the Canadian Meetings & Events Expo, teaming up with the rest of Team Niagara to help educate fellow meeting planners on everything Niagara has to offer. Take a a quick scroll to see what's been happening at Booth 835!
On Friday, we hosted over 40 delegates from across Niagara for the grand opening of our Canadian Icons Art Gallery in our second floor hallway at NFCC. The art pieces were created by local artist George Doros, and are contemporary portraits of Canadian Icons done in a colourful intuitive abstract style known as “Spontaneous Realism”. A combination of loose paint application, wide brush stokes, multimedia and expressive use of colour with images that represent the faces of known Canadians in a Pop Art style. 🎨🖼️🇨🇦
