Hello friends and amazing customers. I figured since this is the last day of 2023 I should officially make an announcement.
This summer I lost my best friend and most wonderful husband. Saying it shook my world to the core doesn’t begin to cover it. I powered through and finished off my weddings and events for the year. They gave me purpose and I’m grateful for that. Now that commitments have been fulfilled, I have decided to wrap up The Village Flower. It has been a wild ride and has been a chapter in my life I won’t ever forget. My husband was my biggest cheerleader and supporter and I could not have done this without him.
I want to thank you, one and all, for your years of loyalty, support and friendship. I wish the absolute best for each and every one of you.
My path going forward may or may not include flowers professionally…only time will tell. I am making a big move to the Maritimes to fulfill a dream and I’m staying open to possibilities. This is my way of carrying on with a future that has changed for me in every way now. It’s exciting and heartbreaking at the same time.
I hope 2024 brings you peace. I also wish this for myself. Stay well and live each day to the fullest.
