Help Needed!!

We are in need of approximately 16 volunteers to assist the organizers of our Family Halloween Party and Haunted House on October 18 from 2PM to 6PM. The volunteer duties will include helping with check-in, craft station, food and music, game stations and the haunted house.

Volunteers are welcome to wear costumes if they chose to. (Volunteers in the haunted house will wear costumes to match the theme).

This is an extremely well attended community event and fun for both attendees and volunteers. Please email Victoria at [email protected]. Thank you for supporting our community events!

Batter Up!

🇨🇦 What an amazing Canada Day Breakfast! 🇨🇦

We were blown away by the turnout at the DCA Canada Breakfast this morning. Almost DOUBLE the number of people we expect showed up to enjoy stacks of pancakes, sizzling ham and sausages, fun games, and great company. So many people meant we ran out of ham and sausages (we apologize to those of you who came a little later in the morning).

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered and also to those who came out to celebrate, connect, and make this morning such a memorable one. It was heartwarming to see neighbours laughing, kids playing, and the whole community coming together. ❤️🍁

Some of you may know that at our upcoming Canada Day Breakfast we like to offer some dedicated space in the parking lot for those who wish to attend and bring their classic/antique cars (or tractors). This is an open invitation to drive your baby down to the breakfast and share her with our friends and neighbors while you enjoy your pancakes and sausages! Tickets are very reasonable and it is always a fun event.

Informal 'car show' and you don't need to worry about being there all day while the rain clouds form!

Our final Paint your Pet night is a wrap. This was such a fun event to host and to participate in! So many wonderful paintings and such fun to try.

Thanks to Russell at Birdsong Studios for being a great guide to help with the hard bits but also letting participants find their own artistic expression.

Perhaps we will do it again next year?!
