We are excited to announce Waldo W. Wowser will be joining the Orillia Canada Day festivities. Waldo will be a feature at the Children's Village.

Waldo hails from the Orillia area. You may have seen him this past weekend at the Cookstown Wingding Festival helping out his friends at South Simcoe Theatre, or you may have seen him at a few local birthday parties. OR you may have even seen the article Orillia Matters did on Waldo W. Wowser aka Kevin Scharf in 2021.

So on July 1st come down with the whole family and see Waldo W. Wowser in action! The Children's Village runs from 11am-5pm and is free!

Waldo will be helping out his friends at the South Simcoe Theatre this weekend. In addition to the wonderful line up of plays that will be presented, SST hosts a tea room annually, the highlight of which is the STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE. Waldo will be on the streets of Cookstown drumming up business and selling this yummy treat between 10 am and 2 pm this Saturday!
