We have officially raised and donated $50.00 to Tree Canada / Arbres Canada!

I can't put into words how much doing these fundraisers and raising money for charities that deserve attention means to me. I hope in the long term I continue to do different volunteer and fundraising works for more amazing causes.

Here's to 3 more charities, 6 more events, and 3 raffle baskets to come!

Just wanted to update you all, we have surpassed my goal of $50.00 for Tree Canada!

On April 29th & 30th I will update again with the total we raised and donated to Tree Canada / Arbres Canada as well as a post with what's to come with the next charity, Rainbow Railroad.

The plant sale!

Here's how it works. Each item (plant, pot and baggie of seeds) is a $2.00 donation. If you are interested in donating for any of these just comment under the picture 'interested' and I will send you a PM to discuss delivery and donation information. If you are interested in more than one, comment under the post with what specifically you're interested in.

I want to give a HUGE thanks to the people who volunteered to help paint pots and well as the people who donated seeds for this event. Your hard work and donations is appreciated beyond recognition. Thank you.

Hello everybody, its time for the details on the third and last event for Tree Canada, the plant sale!

This will be a yard sale style event selling plants, seeds, and pots, raising money for Tree Canada. This event will take place on this page, starting on April 16th, 2023 at 12:00PM.

Each plant, bag of seeds, and pot will be a minimum $2.00 donation each and I will contact the first person to comment about how to donate and delivery.

So far we have $35.00 for Tree Canada / Arbres Canada and the goal is $50.00 so let's see if we can reach it with the final event!

The third and final event for Tree Canada / Arbres Canada will be coming up, the plant sale. Details on that event will be coming up very soon so stay tuned!

At the end of April, all the events for Tree Canada will be closed and all the donations collected will be sent to them on their website.

Anything not sold from any of these events throughout the year will be saved until the last event in October. I will hold a big sale and all the money made from that last sale will go towards he charity that collected the least amount of donations that year.

Hello everyone! It is time for a raffle basket full of everything you'll need for a fun 4/20, except the bud!

The basket includes:
A rolling tray
2 packs of rolling papers
A 420 game board
A smokable mug

One entry for the raffle is a $2.00 donation and the entries are unlimited!

I have 10 kits for your little one (or yourself!) to grow your own miniature garden! Each kit includes:
One pot
One bag of soil
One label
A little instruction card on how to grow your plants!

Each kit is a minimum $2.00 donation and 100% of the proceeds for this event will go straight to Tree Canada!

Hello everyone!

This month I will be taping my flyers out at major bus terminals and spots in Oshawa, Whitby and Brooklin!

So excited to get these fundraising events started. March and April will be fundraising for Tree Canada / Arbres Canada with a Garden Party for children, a garden sale and a 420 raffle basket! 100% of the donations made from these events will go straight to Tree Canada.

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to thank everybody who has liked, followed, and shared this page so far. It means so much that I am able to fundraise for so many amazing charities. Since there are so many fundraising events I'm hosting this year, there will be a lot of supplies I will need as well.

Below I have compiled a list of everything that is needed for all 8 events, as well as the raffle baskets. If anyone is able to help by donating any of the supplies below, please send me a PM or email me at [email protected] and we can discuss pick-up times.

Hi, I am June Budgell, the creator of Budgell Fundraising, a new yearly tradition full of different fundraisers for four charities with diverse and worthy causes.

I believe if you want a better world for yourself, your children, and others, you should do your part to help. In 2023 I will hold 8 fundraisers, and 3 raffles for charities I am passionate about.

The charities I have picked for 2023 are:

Tree Canada (March-April)
- The only national non-profit dedicated to planting trees in rural and urban environments. For every $25.00 donated, 5 trees are planted.

Rainbow Railroad (May-June)
- A non-government-funded organization that provides information, connections, and funding for travel and other associated costs to LGBTQIA+ individuals in countries like Jamaica, Uganda, Chechnya, and Afghanistan.

Food for the Poor Canada (July-August)
- Food For The Poor Canada works in international relief and sustainable development by empowering communities in Latin America and the Caribbean through food, housing, health, education, and livelihood.

The Farley Foundation (September-October)
- The Farley Foundation assists low-income pet owners by subsidizing non-elective medical care for their sick/injured pets. They have helped over 13,000 people in need.

My goal in doing this is to bring the community together to help raise awareness and money for some great causes through educational, inclusive, and fun fundraising events.
