RIP Esther 🥰

We are saddened to share that Esther the Wonder Pig passed away this week. She passed away peacefully, with her dad Steve by her side.

Two Ontarians purchased Esther in 2012, who had been sold to them as a “micro pig”. Micro pigs don’t exist, and Esther grew to over 600 pounds. She quickly rose to internet fame, amassing over 2 million fans along the way.

In recent years, Esther and her dads have rescued and rehabilitated abandoned and abused farmed animals. Her online presence has created “The Esther Effect”, inspiring fans to opt for plant-based diets and live a cruelty-free, compassionate lifestyle.

Rest in peace, sweet Esther. Thank you for shining light on the sentience of pigs everywhere. Your memory and legacy will live on as a reminder that all animals deserve to be loved like you were.
