A&S wedding definitely goes down as one of the closest weddings I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. Their wedding was an elegant backyard, garden party themed wedding and was set up incredibly with plenty of outdoor space for guests to mingle and hang out.

After some bumps along the way, a venue and an Airbnb change, Rachel and Dusty’s wedding couldn’t have been more perfect.

Such an incredible day with a bunch of really awesome people! I also absolutely loved that I got to bump into and catch up with one of my couples from 5 years ago who were attending as guests at Andrea and Shawn’s wedding. The entire day the R word was teetering in and out and although we did get some mist during the ceremony the forest canopy blocked it all out.

I’ve been planning this photo for a very long time. I knew that Whispering Springs would be the perfect spot to capture the Milky Way but every time I was there was just something off to pull off this shot. Either it was cloudy, or the moon was out or the positioning of the Milky Way was just a bit off, until Matt and Kristen’s wedding that is. After their fireworks show I spotted the and so did Kristen and Matt!
The rest of the day was so good and although it was a bit bumpy along the way with a vendor failing to show up, they took it in stride and made the best of the situation!

Here’s some rainy day inspo from M&C’s wedding It literally rained ALL day and even when it looked like it was sunny and wasn’t raining, it was still raining. The forest canopy provided an excellent shelter for the first look and although the ceremony took place under a shelter we did opt out to go for some late sunset photos. Just as we were wrapping up one of their guests turned up and I just had to use that opportunity to backlight them and some raindrops!

A & M’s wedding finished off with a bang! Aside from a little setback from the rain right before the ceremony it was the perfect day and we wrapped up the day with a wicked sunset and an even better fireworks show!!

Last night’s wedding… I’m just floored. First off, it was absolutely incredible to photograph a friends’ brother’s wedding, someone who I have known for almost 20 years. Capping the year off with Sarah and Jordan’s film and I am super excited to share it. The film starts off with Sarah’s Grandmother singing over 3 decades ago, this was recorded to be Sarah’s wedding gift from her Grandmother as unfortunately she couldn’t be a part of the day.
