You are un-bear-ably cute!! Late night packing after the kids are sleeping. This one is staying at home but will be making a special teddy and bunny for a fun birthday tomorrow! So excited to see the smiles on all the kids faces. Also packed the jewels for some extra glitzy eyes for all the animal balloons.

I'm so truly grateful that I can do something fun that can bring smiles to people's faces. My daytime job is quite different and requires a lot of emotional investment so face painting and balloon twisting really does fill my soul. I can continue to do this while supporting others who need a little extra TLC ♥️

Come visit my booth at the FUNdraiser Market tomorrow at Stittsville United Church. I'll be making balloon bouquets, cute bears, and a few foil animals for the kids too. There will be face painting too! Come get something for mom and have some fun with the kids too 🌹😁🎉

I had so much fun today working at a fundraiser in Russell for the Taste of Russell hosted by the Rehman Muslim Association. We did balloons and glitter tattoos. It was a little party for the kids so I decided to deck out my table with the Trolls theme. I decided to personify Poppy today 😁 Seeing all those smiles was so worth it today. It's those little smiles that feed my soul ❤️

Fellow artists that I've spoken to recently shared with me that they make their own stencils for glitter tattoos. When it costs $1 or more per stencil, plus tax, plus shipping, it does add to the costs when you're using a supplier instead. I finally took the plunge to purchase a cricut and slowly learning how to use it. I'd have to say my first attempt worked out pretty well :) Wish me luck as I'm going to be using these tomorrow for my first special event this year!!

My gecko survived a lot of wear and tear over 7 days. I spent a day at the beach, got a massage, carried a toddler on the same arm on a daily basis, bathed the kids in a giant tub and had a few showers myself too. In the end I had to use rubbing alcohol to rub off the glitter and glue. It was still shiny after 7 days and only lost a small foot and a part of its tail. I love this product! I've got sensitive skin and surprisingly did not have a breakout over the week I had it on!

I love my new glitter tattoos from Glimmer! They can last up to 7 days according to their instructions. I'm putting this to the test and see how it survives in real life with work and kids. Wish me luck 😸 Reposting this after I realized I left the sound on 😅 I'm new with this so forgive me for recording my little ones babbling too.

Got new paint from The Magic Mirror. The golden cake is called 'Tigress' and the other one is called 'trick or treat'. Both from Silly Farm, Arty brush cake line. Experimenting with new colours. I learned that the orange in the tigress cake does not show well on my skin tone.

I just spent a very pretty penny at . They have amazing customer service and so knowledgeable on all things paints. Love to support a women owned small business. I love their new Essential Glitter Balm. This is a small sample of their unicorn pallette. Brand new paints and one stroke cakes to add to my collection too! More photos to come 😊

I'm pumped for our party in the park tomorrow! I've learned from the line ups last week that I'll be packing up 2 large bags of prefilled balloons to twist. May only last about 15 minutes, but it's a head start.

I'm hoping for sunshine 🌞 let's hope the weather agrees with me tomorrow.

I volunteered for the Gutsy Walk for Crohn's and Colitis Canada on Sunday, June 5, 2022. I was super excited to be invited and got a chance to entertain the kids during the event. I got the cutest requests from kids asking for a carrot, lawn mower, and a penguin. Who asks for a dog anymore? I heard from other families that the young boy held onto his mini lawn mower during his 5 km walk. I was too busy twisting to take photos, but will try to find photos from other volunteers. I had a tonne of fun!! I've got bruised fingers too prove it too, lol 😁

I'm so excited to be invited to participate in both of these community events! I'll be packing my fairy wings, a giant bag of balloons, and happy smiling to share for everyone who would like a balloon creations. Better start thinking of your requests! One young man requested a lawn mower for a recent fundraiser I volunteered at.

Welcome to my page. My name is Winnie and I moved into Ottawa in the summer of 2021 with my family to start a new life here. The inspiration to my logo came from my 3 year old daughter. Her favourite colour is purple and has a teddy that she sleeps with every night. If making these balloon animals and face painting can bring smiles to my own children's faces, I'm sure it can brighten any one else's day too, whether they are 1 or 99 years old. I want to thank my loving husband for encouraging me to start this small business and have fun while working too. I'm a PSW (personal support worker) by trade and sharing some of my creativity on the weekends at birthday parties or special events is the best of both worlds. My passion in life has always been to help people and I think I've finally found the perfect balance of both things that I enjoy doing. Kinder Paint 'n Twist started as part-time job in university. I learned to face paint and twist balloon animals at events in Toronto. Fast forward a decade and having my own kids, I've learned that life is too short for you to not pursue something that makes you happy. So here I am today starting not one, but two of my own businesses. I am a PSW (Personal Support Worker) by trade and I do enjoy helping seniors, but I also love playing with kids too. So why not have the best of both worlds! PSW by weekdays and a kids entertainer on weekends :) I hope you can support this small business and have fun too!
