The latest

The last 2 subscriber bouquets of 2025 were delivered yesterday and that officially concluded our fresh flowers of the season!

The feelings are usually eerie, sad, not sure what to do with myself, but not this year. This year it’s a sigh of relief to tell you the truth. This has hands down been the hardest season yet.
From huge delays to valentines floral shipment, to a large crop loss on tulips, ranunculus rot, a forever season drought, and early frost. We are happy to put the garden to sleep.

Our “rest season” consists of tulip bulb sales and mass production planting around 3500-4000 bulbs, 2026 subscription launching, wedding quotes, holiday wreaths and offerings, then right back into seed starting.

To add to our busy fall, our poor pup W***y was just diagnosed with Lyme and Anaplasmosis leading to a very very sick boy. Many thanks to the Kemptville Animal Hospital for taking him in so quick and returning him back to his usual duck and chicken chasing self. Huge reminder to check yourselves and your pets. It’s alwayssss tick season and the infected ones are closer than you think!

Quick happy story of the day. Let’s say his name is… Nelson. Nelson emailed me weeks ago with photos of his wife’s bridal bouquet and asked for an extra large bouquet for their anniversary! Nelson was great at communication, stated exactly what he hoped for but was understanding if it couldn’t be the same, had a great budget and was very pleasant. Everyone needs to be like Nelson, the sweetest gesture I think I’ve had to date. That’s all, have a great week ❤️

Wishing everyone a beautiful Thanksgiving weekend.
So grateful for our little life and all of you along for the ride.
We have our last and biggest wedding yet this weekend, along with Thanksgiving Sunday 10-3!

The last of our subscriptions are trickling through, tulip bulbs and peony roots are starting to come and one good thing came out of the draught, a lot of my bed prep was done early this year for next!
