I can’t even believe this time last week I had just said “YES!” to my best friend. ⠀

J, you are the man who made me believe in love again, the man who supports me everyday, the man who is down for every spontaneous adventure, the man who protects my heart and makes me the happiest I’ve ever been. ⠀
Thank you for loving me everyday, for being the best thing that’s ever happened to me, for loving my family and friends like they’re your own. ⠀

Do you have goals and dreams that you’ve wished you could manifest?⠀

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that we just need to go after what we want because life is short, life is busy, and life is fragile. ⠀
⠀
If you know me, you know I’m a dreamer. Always striving for the next thing. Sometimes I’m way ahead of myself and get defeated that I’m not “there” yet. ⠀

Dreaming of big things over here. Setting goals can be scary, but setting goals that you never work on reaching is scarier for me. I personally have “fomo” when I can’t reach a goal fast enough. We just need more hours in a day right?! ⠀

We’re working on some exciting projects over here & hoping to manifest all I want from these goals to become a reality! Time to hustle!! 💕⠀

It’s been a productive day sending new proposals out and getting caught up on emails.⠀

We have flowers arriving tomorrow in preparation for another lovely wedding this weekend! So it will be another busy day organizing, prepping, and processing. We also get to go have a site visit downtown for one of our 2021 weddings. I love viewing new spaces and site visits are the perfect opportunity to gather inspiration from a space. Yay! ⠀

What a weekend!⠀

I’m having a serious case of the Monday's over here even though it’s already Tuesday! I hope you guys had a great long weekend!⠀
⠀
We spent our long weekend designing, coordinating, and playing with florals for two weddings and a small order for an intimate “should have been wedding day” dinner. ⠀
⠀
As if Covid wedding planning hasn’t been hard enough on our couples, we also had to plan around the torrential rain storm and then the tornado warnings that were issued just before our bride walked down the aisle Sunday. With the help of an amazing vendor team who wasn’t afraid to get rained on, we had a magical wedding day with Sarah & Brandon! We were even lucky enough to have a sunny golden hour which concluded with a beautiful rainbow over the venue. ⠀

I am SO thankful for our amazing couples who have taken everything in stride these past few months 💕⠀

I’m Lauren; owner, lead planner & designer of Sinclair & Co. ⠀
-I grew up in a small town in Nova Scotia, our cottage on the beach is definitely my happy place. ⠀
⠀
-I’m a coffee snob now. My boyfriend & I love trying new coffee shops in every city we visit. Our list is constantly growing. ⠀
⠀
-I just spent three weeks in NS isolating for my besties wedding and it was worth every minute of isolation. I was so excited to be a part of their beautiful day.⠀
⠀
-We have two intimate weddings this weekend & I am so excited to get my hands on all of the beautiful flowers. Designing is my passion, processing & bucket washing is definitely not haha but it’s all part of the job! ⠀

I’m so grateful that we have more and more weddings coming up on the books for the next few weeks because I missed them so much!!! ⠀

Although it’s been nice having the extra time off to spend with friends & family because normally I wouldn’t have time to make these memories in the summer. I’m even getting a pretty good tan this year! ⠀

This weekend is definitely going to be spent relaxing and laying low. I’ve been offline a lot recently and it’s felt so nice to take a break. We are over the moon excited about the most recent announcement today in regards to moving into phase 3 of reopening. ⠀
⠀
If you missed it, you are now able to host weddings/events indoors for up to 50 guests and outdoor weddings/events has increased to 100 guests! ⠀
⠀
Of course, social distancing is still required and we will be sure to continue to follow all public health guidelines and restrictions to ensure everyone’s safety but this is such great news!!!! Baby steps. ⠀

Now is the time to reach out if you’re still wanting to get married this year!! We would love to create the perfect ceremony & gathering for you and your fiancé! ⠀

Each year I am even more grateful for all of the amazing people in my life. I am so lucky to have such a loving family, supportive boyfriend, and the best friends, and the sweetest clients. ⠀

This birthday obviously is one I’ll never forget, it’s hard being away from family and not being able to celebrate with everyone, but I am so excited to all be together soon (fingers crossed). ⠀
