« Ce que je retiens le plus de ma formation au Département de théâtre, c’est la diversité des expériences offertes. J’ai exploré toutes les facettes du théâtre : conception de costumes, régie de spectacle, mise en scène, jeu d’acteur, et j’en passe. Cela m’a permis de développer une compréhension enrichissante du processus créatif théâtral. »

« Sudbury est mon foyer d’adoption depuis 38 ans. J’y ai construit ma vie d’adulte et développé ma carrière professionnelle. C’est ici que j’ai fait des rencontres marquantes pour mon parcours, notamment avec la troupe Les Draveurs de l’École secondaire Macdonald-Cartier, le Théâtre du Nouvel Ontario et le feu programme de théâtre de l’Université Laurentienne. Je ne saurais passer sous silence l’honneur que m’a accordé le maire en déclarant le 1er février la Journée Hélène Dallaire. »

(Sudbury has been my adopted home for 38 years. This is where I established myself and developed my professional career. This is where I’ve met some of the people who’ve had the greatest impact on my career, notably É.S.P. MacDonald-Cartier’s troupe Les Draveurs, the Théâtre du Nouvel Ontario and the former Laurentian University Theatre Program. I would be remiss if I did not mention the honour bestowed upon me by the Mayor in declaring February 1 to be Hélène Dallaire Day.)
