is the latest project from Scottish DJ & artist Callie Scott (she/they).

Inspired by notions of impermanence—ephemera creates moments of sound, light, and movement that exist briefly before dissolving, leaving only memory in their wake...

Experimentation, variation, and adaptation are given a central role - pulling in different sounds from organic, melodic, tech, and progressive house.

Callie has been creating and performing music for almost two decades, cutting their teeth in the Scottish indie scene and as a classical instrumentalist.

In the past year they have made a name for themself as a regular feature in the Ottawa underground scene, including sets at White Rabbit, Afterlight, WNDR, The 27 Club, and Probe. Festival appearances include Sideburn, Soulstice, Autumn Octave, and her recent mainstage debut at Black Rabbit Campout 2025. She has shared stages with notable artists including DJ CHUS, Amber Long and Setou & Senyo, and has been featured on radio shows including Ottawa Prog Vibes and Lost in Bass. Internationally, they have played sets in New York City and Casa de Campo.

is a rising force in Ottawa’s house music scene, proving she knows exactly how to make bodies move and booties shake on any dancefloor. Over the past few years, she’s been slaying the local scene, performing with a variety of Ottawa’s event collectives and rocking the decks at signature clubs like City at Night and 27 Club. Last summer marked MADISON’s debut on the festival circuit, where she brought high-energy sets to Camp Summerdaze and Front Republic Music Festival. For the grand opening of Ottawa’s new club Gridwrks, MADISON opened for Pleasurekraft and Shay De Castro, internationally renowned techno heavyweights. Most recently, she played an official Escapade after party, setting the vibe before Green Velvet’s surprise appearance at Gridwrks, and opened Riverside Festival ahead of Tiësto with ALAMUSIC.

Blending brooding basslines with ethereal, spacey melodies, MADISON likes to get deep, dark and dirty, and lost in the groove. With every set, MADISON hopes to inspire a sonic exploration of the human condition, encouraging listeners to find catharsis, connection, and an undying spirit of rebellion.

With beginnings in Toronto, Canada, performing at The Guvernment, Footwork Nightclub, and within the LGBTQ2S+ community, tours the globe, living life through music.

Her release ‘Give It Up For Me’ on Mau5trap earned her a #1 hit on Beatport for over three months, and in 2024, it was re-released with a fresh techno remix, soaring back to #1 once again. With multiple Top 10 records since then, Sydney continues to chart year after year, including the recent “Mind Games” on Knee Deep in Sound, which was premiered by Billboard Magazine.

In late 2021, Sydney launched the Non-Profit organization ‘Change the Beat’ in partnership with Native Instruments, Beatport, and a roster of A-list dance labels. The initiative aims to empower electronic music artists, producers, and DJs by providing education, mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities, focusing on women and underrepresented voices. Over the past two years, Change the Beat has signed over 85 female and gender-expansive artists while mentoring them on their production journeys.

One of Sydney Blu’s greatest accomplishments to date has been her successful advocacy for a new category at Canada’s largest music awards, the JUNO Awards—'Underground Dance Single of the Year.' The category was officially accepted in June 2021 and made its debut in 2022, with Sydney serving as its Chair. She completed her second full-length artist album, CONVICTION, released in March 2021 to critical acclaim and commercial success. The album amassed over one million streams, secured multiple sales chart placements on the industry-leading store Beatport, and earned a JUNO Award nomination in 2022 for Electronic Album of the Year.

With no signs of slowing down, 2025 promises new releases and a packed touring schedule as Sydney Blu continues to push boundaries in electronic music.
