Peter Woods & The Manhattans

Are you looking for something different to do?
Carol Ann Bowers will call the dances, and Justin Thériault's Céilí band will provide the music. There will be soda bread and tea at the end, and refreshments are available at Brigid's Well bar at all times. People of all ages are invited.
There is no need for a partner or previous dance experience. We will pair you with someone, and the dances will range from extremely simple to slightly more complex. There will also be entertainment. This is the ideal place for a fun outing with family and friends. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere - whether you're alone, with friends, or with family, you'll feel at ease.

Tickets are $10.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members.
Children under 12 are free.
Tickets may be purchased at the door.

We found that our Sunday afternoon time slot worked well for many people, especially young families, so we're doing it again.
There is no need for a partner or previous dance experience. We will pair you with someone, and the dances will range from extremely simple to slightly more complex. There will also be entertainment.
Tickets are $10.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members. Children under 12 are admitted free. We encourage purchasing tickets early to avoid a sellout, but if you choose to take a chance, they will be available at the door.

Ottawa Highlanders Pipes & Drums
Thursday 1 August 2024 Time: 7:30 till 11:00 pm COST $20.

Please come and join the Ottawa’s pipe band community.
Where the Ottawa Highlanders Pipes & Drums call home, in Brigid's Well public house in the heart of Ottawa's historic lower town, at the exciting Ottawa highlanders annual Pre Maxville games "PUB NIGHT".
This year were hosting an event where one can pipe for pints under the name "Ottawa’s Got Talent."

An open mic contest judged by an applause meter!
Five minutes where everyone may strut their pipes and musical ability. drums, fiddles, guitars. Kazoos or voice; everything is possible, and anything goes.

From 7:30 till 11:00 p.m. Judging at 11:00,
Ist place = 10 pints
2nd place = 7 pints.
3rd place = 5 pints

Basic equipment will be available if needed
with some sound assistance, pa.
Few mic's and a drum equipment.
Time restrictions mean that first come first serve will be the order of events.
