Truth bomb: Ever feel like wedding traditions just aren't your thing? 🤷‍♀️

I get that some people love the classic rituals, and if that's you, that's totally ok! But for many, following all the "must-do" traditions can feel less personal.

What I love instead? 👉 Is encouraging couples to create their own traditions! Whether it’s skipping the bouquet toss, writing personal vows, or incorporating cultural elements or unconventional ceremony ideas, it’s all about making your wedding as special and authentic as your love story.

I had THIS recurring dream the weeks leading up to my wedding day…😱

The dream went like this 😴

It was finally my wedding day, but I woke up late for some reason.

And no one thought to wake me up to get ready…😒

I panic and start to get ready but it’s taking sooo long…

It takes so long that it starts to get dark…🤣

I look down and im still in PJs and fuzzy slippers.

All I could think in that moment was I needed to get to the reception ASAP!

So I head to the wedding reception (don’t know what happened to the ceremony) PJs, fuzzy slippers and all.

But I get there just as the party is ending 😓.

That's when I would wake up.

Had that dream again the whole week prior to my wedding day 😅

Thankfully the wedding day itself I was much more relaxed. I knew I did all I could.

The day itself did go by fast but in a good way 🥰

My husband and I were going around to each table to personally thank our guests.

With over 200 attendees, we ended up having to do it in sections.

When it comes to budgeting, it’s important to prioritize what’s most important to the couple.

If you and your partner are foodies, you may want to allocate more of your budget to catering. If you’re more focused on the aesthetics, you may want to invest more in the venue and décor.
