Oh that cheeky little grin that I will never tire of; how far we’ve come.

And he wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for CHEO and our hero, Dr Nzau, performing a lifesaving craniotomy at just 12 hours old.
That’s a very summed up version of our story, and we consider ourselves the lucky ones.

I know so many of you have stories of your own so what d’ya say - let’s raise a little money for CHEO, yeah??

The winner of the raffle will receive a one hour outdoor lifestyle photo session with a full gallery, valued at $649+tax.

To Enter:
A minimum $10 donation can be sent via EMT to [email protected] to be entered into the raffle. Every additional increment of $5 will gain another entry. In the message, please be sure to include your full name and email, as this is how I will be in touch with the winner.

While the objective of this raffle is to fundraiser for CHEO, a few ways you can help me spread the word, share the love, help me give back and gain an extra entry into the raffle are:
1. Share this post in your stories (make sure to tag me so I can track it)
2. Simply “like” this photo
3. And/or comment below - tag a friend who may like the chance to enter, let me know what you would use the session for, share your own story, etc.

Winner will be drawn and notified Saturday May 11 by 12pm EST. Photo session will take place in the Ottawa and surrounding area only (or travel fee will be added).
ALL proceeds will be donated to CHEO in honour of James, no profits will be made.

What if, instead of being stressed out about your session, we do all the planning in advance…

Timing around that perfect sunset glow (which may mean planning for a certain time of year if we’re working around little ones’ bedtimes), select a location that means something to you or pulling one from my list of great spots depending on the aesthetic you’re drawn to, put together the perfect outfits…

So all you have to do is show up, just as you are. Release expectations and let the littles be littles. In my experience, that’s where the real magic happens ✨

I’d say wow, what lucky parents, with how sweet these three are, but honestly these are some pretty lucky kids too!
I absolutely love all of the families I have the honour of capturing through their life milestones and once in a while just because. Getting to watch your families and kids grow is such an honour!

After a much needed break and extended Christmas holiday, it feels so so good to be back with the camera in my hand. ❤️

In all seriousness, I hope everyone had an amazing holiday and I truly can’t wait to get back to work. How could I not when my first session back will be capturing this amazing family’s sweet new addition?❤️

Having said that, I’ve still got my babes home with me for another week and am still bouncing my way out of holiday mode so email response times may be a little slower than usual - thanks for your patience!
