Holy smokes folks, DJ Son is hit with his first opportunity ever! I’m planning on booking a paid event on YouTube with Eventbrite. It will incorporate me busking and singing too! This event will happen next Saturday (the 10th of September) at 6 pm (Ottawa time). I will be busking AND singing on my wired mic. I hope all goes well because this is my first time doing this.

The ticket is $5 Canadian. If you ever wanted a refund for any valid reason I will refund you fully, please contact me! The live stream will be unlisted at all times. If something happens and the show is canceled everyone will get their money back.

Hey DJ Son’s fans!

I’m still in the process of getting permits to perform outside out in public or private property.

I’m not sure if this is a new thing bc I remember one time asking a policeman if I could DJ, at Mooney’s bay, and he said that it was fine.

Covid sucks indeed everybody!!! As I’m at that process, getting permits, I’m planning to perform in front of my parent’s house i.e. private property but I have permission of the parent, of course!

In terms of schedule I think I will stay with every Saturday evenings at six pm. And, idk I will update on this later. My plans so far I think is to perform at my parents front porch in the evenings when it’s not Saturday and stick to performing on Saturdays at 6 pm. This might change in the future for sure.

In terms of music I’ll try to make as many songs as possible, right now I have about an hour’s worth of music, but if I make like double the songs, it’s not gonna be too repetitive.

My parents house is located on 436 Queen Mary Street in Overbrook, Ottawa. The front porch can accommodate for about 20 people Idk, maybe more lol! Or less, lol!

Btw does anybody know if playing music in the front porches of houses that you own is legal?? I searched Google and wasn’t able to come up with the information lol!

Anyway happy Victoria day everybody!

DJ Son’s Story

I actually started DJ-ing pretty recently. But I’ve always loved music. I don’t really understand how music can affect people so greatly. I think you’d have to ask a brain scientist about that. The history of my DJ-ing career started when my mom bought for me the DDJ-WEGO about three years ago. I liked it and saw my potential with it, but I was doing school then and didn’t have much time to DJ. Then one summer, I realized that I needed money for my future use with audiophile equipment (DAP’s, headphones, iem’s, etc.). I also saw that this was an opportunity for me to develop with general experience as DJ-ing requires peoples skills and many other types of skills, as well as musical experience. I don’t want to bore you with too much details but that’s basically how it all got started.
