In 1979, Michael and Lou Bregman opened the first Michel's Baguette at the Toronto Eaton Centre.

Start with a warm, comforting bowl of butternut squash soup. Then, dive into our chicken and apple Croque Monsieur: layers of chicken, fresh apple slices, caramelized onions, and creamy goodness on our buttery brioche. It’s your soon-to-be lunchtime obsession! 😍
 
And to complete your fall feast? Our butternut squash salad – a dreamy mix of caramelized pecans, dried cranberries, and squash, all dressed in maple-lemon heaven.

On September 18, 2024, we celebrated the grand opening of our brand-new Michel’s Bakery Café at Yorkdale Shopping Centre! It was a fantastic day filled with smiles, delicious treats, and special moments with our amazing customers and staff. 💛
 
After 40 years of serving at Yorkdale, we are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our loyal customers and the dedication of our hard-working team. A special congratulations to our franchisee, Maggie Nikbakht, for opening this beautiful new café. 🎉👏
