A little about Jon...
Jon Reid is a multi-talented musician and performer, best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the Blues rock Trio Beauwater. With a string of impressive accolades, including winning the 2017 ECMA for Blues album of the year and the 2020 MusicNL award for Blues Group of the year, Jon and his band have solidified their place in the music industry. They were also nominated for the prestigious Maple Blues award for New Group of the year.
While Jon shines as a member of Beauwater, his solo performances showcase his versatility and passion for music. Genres do not limit him, as he effortlessly transitions from blues to rock, traditional to country, and even top-40 hits. His blue-collar jukebox approach ensures a diverse and captivating repertoire, ranging from well-known sing-along tunes to the most eclectic and obscure tracks.
Drawing inspiration from various artists, Jon's vocal style is reminiscent of legends like Chris Cornell, Bob Seger, Rod Stewart, and Chris Stapleton. His ability to hit the higher end of the male vocal range adds a unique and powerful touch to his performances.
In 2023, Jon expanded his musical horizons by fronting the cover band Rock Revival. This new venture allowed him to unleash his vocal prowess without the confines of the guitar. With his infectious energy and a genuine desire to entertain, Jon is guaranteed to be the life of your next party.
