We just got married, and here’s what I learned as a wedding planner undercover. 🕵️👰

Being a wedding planner on the other side of a wedding was an incredible (and sometimes strange!) experience. It was amazing to experience first hand so many of the emotions and stresses that our clients go through in planning their weddings, and I learned so much from the journey.

Here are some of my top favourite tips from my own experience as a bride and newlywed, and check out the full blog post at the link in our bio for more details and tips!

Tip #1: 🎀
Do away with things that don’t feel authentic to you. For example, I knew a veil was not for me, but a bow? Absolutely.

Tip #2: 🌴
Pick the right venue and it will speak for itself.

Tip #3:🥳
Give yourself a LOT of time to get ready, and extra time for fun things!

Tip #4: 🖊️
Write your own vows and find the right officiant

Tip #5: 📋
Hire a planner (yes, even I hired a planner for our day because I KNOW how much work it is!)

💎picking a venue that fits your vision can be challenging - but oh so worth it.

Take 🦚for example. The perfect spot for small to medium weddings, with a quaint, romantic, and airy vibe. The whole property has incredible details and every corner makes a great photo opportunity. We knew it would be just right for our December microwedding pop ups and it did not disappoint. That LIGHTING! 🕯️🌈
