❄️ Here is our 2025 Rankin Winter Carnival events schedule!

There are still some spots available for our Wednesday night dine in spaghetti dinner and our Saturday night trivia event! ❄️

Thursday night we will be having a GLOW skate! All ages are welcome! If you forget your glow sticks we will have some on hand for you!

Friday night stop in for our 4 hand euchre tournament! Our Pre-Teen dance will be happening in our back meeting room!

Come on out with the family Saturday morning February 15th to grab some pancake breakfast provided and prepared by our very own Rankin firefighters with maple syrup generously donated by Maple Side Sugarbush! Lunch will also be available throughout the day with our bar being open. Grab some food and watch some winter baseball at our Snowball showdown tournament!

Our main hall has been completely transformed, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Stephani went above and beyond to bring our vision to life, and the outcome exceeded all expectations.

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came out to support the Rankin Centre at our Winter Carnival A lot of people are waiting so patiently for the button winning numbers, so here they are!!! Congratulations to all the winners!!! 🥇1st Place - 1880 (backup 1476) 🥈2nd Place - 325 🥉3rd Place - 201 And our Carnival wouldn’t be possible without our amazing community members who are selling the buttons - thank you to everyone who sold and purchased buttons this year!!! Are you going to be skating on Carnival Weekend!!! Volunteers have been working hard getting the ice ready for you - hope to see you there!!!

This year at the Carnival, in addition to the always popular Children's Play Area and Craft Workshops, we will be having a VIRTUAL REALITY ROOM!!! Come and experience VR for yourself!!! Make sure to reserve your time slot at the registration table Saturday, February 11!!

The Rankin Centre will be hosting a Spaghetti Supper as part of our Winter Carnival. This meal will be catered by Schmidt’s catering on Thursday, February 9th from 5-9pm. It is $20/adult and $12/child aged 5-12 (children age 0-4 Free). Dine in or Take Out options available! February 11th is the big day - and it is kicking off with a FIRED UP EVENT thanks to our Rankin Firefighters Association! Our annual pancake breakfast has been provided by, and will be prepared and served to the community by, our local Fire Fighters! Breakfast is served on February 11th from 8-10AM - $9/adult $6/child (0-5 Free)! Make sure to have your button and stay all day because the fun will just be beginning!! Food will be served all weekend long, but these two meals are definitely ones you won't want to miss! Hope to see you there!!!

Our Monthly RCRC Meeting takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. An error was printed in our February newsletter - the date of the next meeting is Wednesday, February 1, at 7:00 PM (not Feb 8 as printed). We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, and hope to see you at the upcoming meeting! "Volunteering is a work of heart"

Do you think you have the knowledge to pick the winning team in our first ever Rankin Centre NHL Hockey Pool? Come on out tomorrow to put it to the test!!! Bring some friends and enjoy the friendly competition all NHL season long! Watch your points climb from home all season and see if you will be the team with the bragging rights at the end!!! $20.00 per entry, with all entry fees going towards the prize pool. Cash bar will be open at this live event - hope to see you there!!!
