We always try to use everything here and this little brittle piece of gold is no exception 💛. After we smoke our salmon we remove the skins, dehydrate them and then pulverize them into a smokey fishy crumble to make an ocean flavour packed furikake!! 😉

This salty smoke treat will bump your rice or popcorn 🍿 🤔 😋 to the next level!!!

A few years back we had a young fella come along and work for us. Roni. Guy was a legend.

Anyone who has worked in this business for a while knows that you can go through alot of staff. The kitchen calls for misfits, the broken, the untamed. Sometimes though we meet people that mean alot to us and things just click. A crew comes together like a nice vinaigrette . Well that's what it was like when Roni was around. Some of my favorite memories are when the four of us rocked the kitchen.

When he left to go back home to Australia he painted us this picture and wrote some truly kind words on the back. We miss ya bud!!!!! The four stooges ❤

Sad to say this is our last batch of beautiful 😍 pine mushrooms 🍄 from Jesse . It has been great 👍 to have access to these tasty gifts from the forest floor 🌳 🍃 🍂 ☘ 🍁. Thanks Jesse.

Today we have roasted these bad boys off with brown butter 🧈 and thyme for our poutine!!! Truffle parmesan fries 🍟, smoked cheese curds 🧀 and black garlic veal demi 😋 😍 👌

On the lighter side try a bowl 🥣 of our coconut 🥥 carrot 🥕 soup with crispy rice 🍚 😋

Simply fresh food.

BRODO (Italian for "broth") features locally-sourced ingredients in a variety of soups, sandwiches and salads, and the menu changes seasonally to reflect what's fresh from the harvest. Unique to Penticton, the "flight of soups" has been a hit since opening -- three soups to tempt taste buds, paired with a salad or sandwich. BRODO's service is fresh and fast, true to Chef Paul Cecconi's motto: simply fresh food.

BRODO aims to tempt your taste buds with the Okanagan, reflecting the bounty of the land; there's even an urban cultivator on site providing fresh herbs, with meat and produce coming from local orchards and farmers, and wine from nearby vineyards. We source our ingredients with care and integrity, seeking the best from local farms that respect their animals, the land and the environment. The results are delicious.

Join us for lunch or dinner, we’re open Monday through Saturday, 11am to 8pm. Pick up soups and preserves to go, and if you’re having a special event, we’d love to chat with you about our catering.
