Beautiful blue and green eggs from our chickens this morning. I am always amazed how bright the colours are!!! House made bao buns on feature today with cauliflower kimchi, pork belly, spicy peanut sauce and crispy yam👌

Paul.and I both headed out into the great white north to hunt down our Christmas 🎄 trees for this year. Couple of real good lookers!!! Trees are nice too 😆 🤣 😂

Freshly baked everything sweet potato 🥔 😋 buns for our Brodo "surf N turf" sando today!!! Black pepper and rosemary shaved beef, prawn 🍤 🦐 and bell pepper 🫑 🌶 relish, provolone, arugula and smoked onion 🌰 beer mayo

Pairs nice with an African peanut 🥜 soup !!

Fluffy, crispy little pillows, these pirozhky really hit the spot with our Borscht today!!! 😋 😋 😋 what's a pirozhky you ask???? Think 🤔 perogie but light, airy and deep fried!!!! Trust me you will thank us after you've tried them 😆 🤣 😂

A great way to use up unripe pumpkins 🎃 from the garden is to peel off a bit of the tough skin, then let the chickens 🐔 do their thing!!! In a day they cleaned this little guy out, happy chickens 🐔 = healthy eggs 🥚 😋

Grilled lamb Kofta and Farro salad 🥗 bowl today with cucumber 🥒, cherry tomato ( still from my garden!!!) Sumac baked feta, crispy chickpea and mint yogurt

Also chicken tomatillo soup 🍲 with corn fritters and buttermilk crema

BRODO (Italian for "broth") features locally-sourced ingredients in a variety of soups, sandwiches and salads, and the menu changes seasonally to reflect what's fresh from the harvest. Unique to Penticton, the "flight of soups" has been a hit since opening -- three soups to tempt taste buds, paired with a salad or sandwich. BRODO's service is fresh and fast, true to Chef Paul Cecconi's motto: simply fresh food.

BRODO aims to tempt your taste buds with the Okanagan, reflecting the bounty of the land; there's even an urban cultivator on site providing fresh herbs, with meat and produce coming from local orchards and farmers, and wine from nearby vineyards. We source our ingredients with care and integrity, seeking the best from local farms that respect their animals, the land and the environment. The results are delicious.

Join us for lunch or dinner, we’re open Monday through Saturday, 11am to 8pm. Pick up soups and preserves to go, and if you’re having a special event, we’d love to chat with you about our catering.
