A wedding full of culture, tradition, and breathtaking moments! 💖✨

Heshani and Chamith’s stunning Sri Lankan celebration at the Royal Ambassador was nothing short of magical. From the incredible dancers leading the couple into their Poruwa Ceremony to the meaningful rituals performed by their traditional celebrant, Sanjeeva, every detail was a beautiful nod to their heritage.

Danielle had the honor of being part of this special day, stepping in at the end to handle the legal components and sign the documents, making their union official! 💍

💍 What Documents Get Signed at Your Wedding Ceremony? ✍️

Ever wonder what paperwork makes your “I do” official? Here’s a breakdown of the documents signed during or after your ceremony:

1️⃣ Marriage Register
• This stays with your officiant and is signed by the couple, their two witnesses, and the officiant. Once the book is filled, it’s sent back to the Ontario Ministry.

2️⃣ Marriage License
• Also signed by the couple, their witnesses, and the officiant, this document is mailed to the Ministry within 48 hours of your wedding.

3️⃣ Record of Solemnization
• This one is signed by your witnesses and officiant and is yours to keep. It’s your temporary proof of marriage until you can apply for your Marriage Certificate in 8-10 weeks.

📬 Your officiant takes care of mailing everything to the Ministry, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Just focus on enjoying your big day! 💕
